My little family first worked with Megan a few weeks ago and we had a GREAT experience! I was a little concerned for the lamb shoot I had scheduled for my boys given they are VERY energetic! However, Megan assured me she would have some tricks up her sleeves so that I wouldnt have to worry about not getting any good pictures. She was so WONDERFUL with my boys at the time of our shoot....joking around with them and very interactive with them which made them feel comfortable with her pretty much from the start (which it usually takes a little while for them to warm up to anyone). However, her kind spirit and silly personality helped them to let loose fast. My pictures were made available to me within a few days online and the pictures I ordered in addition to my package purchase arrived quickly as well in the mail soon after. Megan was VERY quick to respond to my messages of questions or/and concerns (such as worrying that my boys would be too feisty to photograph) from initial contact I made with her. Id HIGHLY recommend Megan to anyone interested and would definitely be willing to give Megan my business again!! More...

I cannot begin to say how amazing Megan is!!! Even though we literally met 3 days before the big day, I knew right away the moment when I met her that the event that led to her becoming our photographer was not without reason! ! From the moment she starred shooting, I felt like I’d known her for years! She went above and beyond, even as far as getting on the floor to help get me situated in my dress. The level of professionalism she had with everyone was amazing! Oh and don’t get me started on how good she was with our kids!! If you are considering having her capture your wedding, engagement, or just some family shots downtown, go for it! Megan did a fantastic job on our pictures! From the start she was pleasant to work with and very responsive to all my millions of questions. She's very easy to get along with and has a fun and sweet personality, which is important when you have someone following you around all day. I got the pleasure of having Megan do a "trash the dress" session for me. She did her research on finding the perfect location with everything I was describing to her! My husband (who hates taking pictures) actually had a great time and didn't mind it! Megan thought of everything during this session and also got in the freezing cold water to have a perfect shot!

We asked Megan with Anchored Souls to take our engagement pictures after seeing previous photoshoots she had done, and I am SO impressed and in love with them! She is absolutely amazing at capturing the most beautiful photographs! She has an eye for where the best lighting is, and what scenery will make for the best pictures. My now-husband wasn't too excited about taking our pictures (he's a typical guy) but she got him to completely relax and be at ease in front of the camera. We were both rather clueless when it came to the whole thing… what to wear, where to take them at, ect. Megan helped us with all of this! We went over outfit options and she helped us choose the best colors to contrast with the scenery at the two areas she had also helped us choose. It's easy to tell how comfortable she is behind the camera, and she makes you feel like you're spending time with a friend, rather than a photographer. Neither of us were too sure what to do as far as poses, but this is where Megan is the best at what she does! She was able to guide us without the shots looking 'posed', and she captured our personalities perfectly. My husband even commented afterwards that he actually enjoyed it because Megan made it fun! We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day!!! Megan was absolutely amazing!
