I would like to thank Dr. Heinrich and her team for always taking care of my mini-rex rabbit Bella. My rabbit presented sever erythema and alopecia around her trunk, inferior eyelid and her hind leg. This went on for more than a year.Bella’s primary DVM tried everything and eventually referred us to Dr. Heinrich for further analysis.The doctor applied different assessments on my rabbit’s skin condition for nearly a year. I remember the moment that Dr. Heinrich called me and said, “Doug, I know what it is! It’s Mural folliculitis and sebaceous adenitis and it’s treatable for little Belle”. Excellent facility and standard of care. My cat Jezebel was not a typical patient due to her heart murmur, standard allergy testing wasn’t a possibility. Dr McFadden worked diligently trying different blood tests to determine what her allergies were so she could be started on allergy injections. When we started, her entire belly was hairless from the itching, her face was covered in scabs from itching, she was constantly shaking her head and had become quite introverted. Now, a year later, all of her hair has grown back, she isn’t shaking or itching at her face and is back to her playful self. Great staff, short wait time, fairly priced, and overall an excellent experience. My cat had chronic ear issues due to allergies. The treatments that she had been getting never seemed to give her permanent relief. I took her to Dr. Heinrich who gave her excellent care. I brought our dog into dr Hendricks about our dog itching so bad she was almost bald. It's been a Iong going thing with our lab but we are still trying to determine what's causing all of this. But the doctors and staff have been amazing to us and we always leave confident in the treatment plan she gives us. Dr Nicole Heinrich is amazing. My three-year-old cocker spaniel, Cosmo, had chronic ear infections. I was referred to the University of Minnesota dermatologist and they wanted to completely remove his ear canals. Cosmo would have been completely deaf. This was not something I was even considering as an option. Thankfully, my breeder recommended I try McKeever Dermatology and Nicole. Within a month the bacterial infection in his ears was gone and his ear canals were wide open. It's simply took some eardrops, a change in food, and an allergy medication. I've had a few dogs in my day. I've never had one with allergies. But Dr. Heinrich has mad my dogs life so much better and mine as well. We are so happy with everyone we encountered during our appointments. After working with our vet for a few months we were referred to get some help with our dogs skin infection. He was miserable and within a few weeks of their treatment he was back to his old self. I am amazed on how well his hair grew back, you can't even tell he was having issues. We are so happy with the care our Shih Tzu Rescue dog Coco has received from the staff at McKeever. He went to Shih Tzu Rescue of Minnesota last October in terrible condition suffering from allergies and missing fur over much of his body. We adopted him over 6 months ago knowing he had bad allergies, and continued his care plan from McKeever which the wonderful people at the Shih Tzu Rescue had started.
