We loved all the dishes we tried. We were only able to eat here once before it closed. Went back for a second visit, but the sign on the door said they are relocating. I hope they open another one on the island because we will definitely try again.

It would be nice to know what time this restaurant really opens. One sign says 7 am and the one right next to it says 9 am. Very confusing and unprofessional, especially with a VERY popular IHop right across the sidewalk, with breakfast seating wait time at 30 minutes.
Just one more ding against this place. It’s definitely a no go for us.

Giving a one star to this place is already generous enough. This is my first....and gladly, the last to set foot in this institution. Being in the customer service industry myself, that's one of my biggest pet peeves. We came into this place, for my Auntie's retirement celebration, more than 40 of the family members, and only two servers...only two!!! They don't offer you water, you have to ask for your own drink, the noodles smelled spoiled. I have never been in a food establishment this poor of a service. I'm guessing the only way your thriving here on the island of Maui is because there's so many of us, Filipinos here. I would have rather take my entire family on a restaurant that actually takes care of their customers. I am beyond disappointed.

I read the reviews where everyone complained about poor service before going to this place.. we ended up going here since there was a long wait time at ihop near by.. The service was horrible, it’s just bunch of Filipinos who work and has no idea what a good service means... I did not want to leave any tip.. but I still left a dollar tip for a 20$ check and the guy at the front laughs sarcastically and says “oh one dollar” then I told him you guys have very poor service . He didn’t seem to care or address the issue. I am a person who leave 20-25% tip if its exceptional , 15% at most places and this place deserves 0$ tip ! And I usually don’t write reviews and this place deserves this review as well...

Disappointed over my first and will be my last experience.
I placed an order for a take out
Simply Pancit Bihon and Fried Lumpias and when I got home only to find out what they gave me was Pancit Canton. I called max’s immediately and was told over the phone that they would correct this on my next order and that they would note my name down for the next time.
Two weeks later I called to take them on their word and is turned out that too did not happen.

My experience is that they do not listen well to their customers nor do they mean what it is they say.

Good food at a good price. Usually get quite a bit of food. The waiters have always been friendly. They have been great with recommendations as far as different dishes to try. I have been here 3 times so far and ordered takeout once. Every time I have gone. They have been super friendly and seated me quickly . the lechon or fried pork belly was great. I love the halo halo and the crab fried rice is great.
