I won an award at work and needed head-shots in a hurry so after seeing his positive reviews on Yelp, I contacted Matt. Matt was very straightforward and easy to work with. I ended up booking a session for my wife and I and he actually came over to our house which made things really easy. The session went great and the photos were beat all expectations! I recently hired Matt for a corporate head shot and I could not be more pleased with the experience and with the results. Â We brought a few wardrobe options to the studio and he helped us select what would look best on camera . Â Now that I have seen the final headshot, I strongly agree with jacket shirt and tie combo that he suggested. Â Matt kindly made time to take pictures with the subject in two different informal outfits because we couldn't decide on one -- which turned out great because we ended liking both and purchasing one of each. Â His investment in a little extra time with us paid off, but he couldn't know in advance that we would decide to buy more -- he just did it as a courtesy, very graciously. Â He gave great directions about pose, posture, and head position; all while making the subject of the head shots relaxed and comfortable. Â Matt was very prompt in providing the digital proofs for us to review and choose from, and prompt again in providing the final files for the images we chose. I've worked with Matt on a couple of projects. He's provided company photos of executives at two different companies for me, and he's great working with everyone from nervous, camera-shy CEOs to super-confident VPs of Sales. He takes the time to get to know each subject, making them feel comfortable and confident, and his final work is professional and delivered promptly. I've also used Matt for company videos, and he brought in a great team - everyone from a makeup person to an additional camera man. We recorded a couple of great corporate videos, with high-quality sound and picture quality - just what our company needed to highlight our expertise. We found Matt on recommendation by a friend of a friend, and I feel so lucky we did! Â We needed professional family photos done for our holiday cards, but were wary of the places in the mall or snooty photographers who prefer to hide behind the camera than provide a good customer experience. I recently experienced a milestone graduation & wanted a few photos to document the occasion w/ my parents, in my doctoral regalia. I wanted to avoid the "Olan Mills or Mall" group photo.With only about 5 working days to spare, I frantically searched for a photographer in the Austin area... who would be willing/available for an early morning (outdoor) photo shoot. I currently live in Houston, TX- but communication with Matthew via eMail & telephone was fast, simple, & efficient. Matthew spent some "quality time" with my family & I; he allowed me to choose from a variety of poses, scenarios, etc.I highly recommend Matthew! Undoubtedly, his high quality work & various photo galleries speak for themselves! I've had the good fortune of working with Matt a couple of times when he provided event photography. Â He does excellent work! Â I like to take photos and am always snapping pictures left and right while I'm out and about. Â But when I received Matt's photos after both of these events, I had to ask myself why I had bothered; his artistic eye and his amazing ability to take fantastic photos that beautifully capture the mood and the energy of the event and the people involved is just amazing. Â I am especially impressed by his ability to shoot great pictures in low light, which I find incredibly tricky.In addition, Matt is a consummate professional, very responsive and easy to work with, and prompt with producing the final product. Â As if that weren't enough, he is very generous with his time and has a spirit of volunteerism that I really admire.
