I have an MBA but come more from the marketing side and needed some help putting together the financial worksheet for my business plan. Matt was great at quickly cutting to the core needs for my purpose and helped me to get focused and clear on what the scope should be at this juncture. I appreciated his ability to bring the perspective of someone who has seen many plans and not let me over-complicate it too soon. He was very clear with me on what expectations were reasonable for our agreement and made sure that we were on the same page about that. We also had a followup call where we talked through everything, he answered my questions, and made a few adjustments to better refine things once I was able to look it all through and understand better how various parts related to my end goal. Although it was an investment financially I feel it is ultimately less expensive in the early stages to work with someone (Plan Writers) who can fill in the gaps and help you get past your personal hurdles before investing in expanding your team. This is the only time I have gone back and updated a review. I was not happy with The Plan Writers initially and after having more discussions with Matt, he made it clear he wanted to do the work to make it right. He reached out to me and wanted another chance. We were able to connect again and I provided him with more information and clearer expectations, because of this we were a lot closer with the final product to what I wanted. The plan we were asking for is in a specialized industry so by no means was it an easy task, but after seeing his effort in wanting to make it right I will say I recommend this company. I am a start up and had no idea how to complete a business plan. I know this is a very important stage when starting a new business and wanted it to be perfect for lenders. I had started the process on my own but realized I didn't have the time or knowledge to turn it into the product I needed. I reviewed other companies online and even called to see how the companies dealt with me and the questions I had. Based on the positive responses I received I decided to go with The Plan Writers. John was great to deal with and really helpful when I had any concerns or questions. They completed my plan quickly and it came out beautiful! They found information I never knew existed. I must admit, that when I first thought about getting my business plan drafted and put together by someone, I was a bit skeptical. But after my first call with Arleo, I could sense he stood with a form of honesty, integrity, and morality, as well as possessed the knowledge, wisdom, and style that I was seeking for my Business plan, and that something inside me told me I could trust Him and his team. I knew He had he had a huge calling on his life, and that he was created to do something special for his fellow man and be held to a higher standard. It wasn’t but a few phone calls later when he confirmed this to me and his colors and light shined through. In regards to Matt, he has done a good job to build such a strong team but I will tell you his work, along with Arleo has been tremendous and the business plan they produced for me was pretty spot on. Matt, Arleo and his team make a great professional source to have business strategies be put down and created and mapped out on something tangle and executable like a battle plan. My husband and I started a Pharmacy that offers a delivery solution. I had worked with Matt Khalili who created a plan that incorporated financials for a traditional retail pharmacy and a detailed forecast for a delivery revenue stream. What I liked about my plan is that their people understand trends in the pharmacy retail business and know how insurance companies painfully cut into our cash flow each year. We were more confident in our path as we found the necessity for new revenue streams to keep us at the profitability we want. My plan was done in about one week and they used a research report based on a California market retail pharmacy analysis. Overall, the people at this company are smart and efficient. They knew about the SBA requirements and was surprised they picked up on my call on a Sunday. My only feedback is that they took a little longer to handle a revision they promised me in 2 days (they took 4). I contacted Plan Writers in 2016 for business plan that was for my immigration application. My attorney told me to call them. They were very good and made my L-1 business plan in fast time. I did not submit it though because my employing company changed it's mind from a hotel to a residential business in the USA. Let me start by stating I wasn't really sure what my expectations were. I've never had a business plan written for me before, and I wasn't sure of the details and the process. I am attempting to purchase a company that I have some history with and was very anxious for my business plan. After explaining all that to Matt, the owner, he made sure I received the proper attention to help me through the process. When Matt is involved, communication is the way I like it! Not knowing what is required and what is expected from someone having a business plan written, I was learning as we went. I realize when you purchase a service, they make their money by getting the plan completed in a timely fashion. We ran into a little hiccup for I received my first draft before I was able to submit the financials for the company I am looking to purchase. Please keep in mind when dealing with an existing company you are at their mercy on how fast they get you the information you request. I communicated I was having issues getting the financials in a timely fashion and I'd keep them updated. A week or so later I received my first draft. This was a big surprise to me for I didn't understand how I could receive my first draft if I hadn't submitted the company financials. After contacting The Plan Writers, Matt personally called me to explain why the first draft was submitted. He emphasized is was a first draft and he put my mind at ease. I have to admit that a part of me being surprised was because I didn't qualify the process so I understood it properly. The Plan Writers have been superb with getting additional revisions completed in a very timely fashion. I did change my scope a little bit on one of the last revisions and Matt charge me a nominal little fee for the revision. It was very, very reasonable! I have asked for yet another revision and Matt is taking care of me. I would definitely utilize The Plan Writers again if I require another business plan. The only reason I gave them a 4 out of 5 stars is I would have liked the process explained in more detail at the beginning of the process. More...
