We hired Matt Ferrara for our wedding and we couldn’t be happier. Matt has an amazing skill and personality which is important as he is there for some of the biggest and most intimate moments of a wedding. He made us feel comfortable and directed everyone. I gave him a very long list of shots I wanted and he professionally and quickly got them all done, helping round people up, line up the shot, and even entertain the 1 year old flower girl long enough to get some great pictures. We had guests and bridal party members complimenting our photographer, saying how nice and fun he was. Even Matt’s second shooter was amazing, dancing on the dance floor and having a good time with everyone. It definitely helped our guests let loose in front of the camera and helped us get some really fun shots on the dance floor. Matt spends the whole day with you and he is up to any challenge that may come along. His photography is great for a number of reasons, one being his ability to create and capture unique scenes that everyone will remember.
For my son's wedding he was especially brave ... he traveled shotgun in my 1941 Buick (AKA 'the Beast') and caught every detail. He even did some really neat night photography of my son and daughter-in-law in the car on a dock. He goes all out!

Matt was recommended to us by a family friend and wow are we glad they did. He did our engagement photos as well as the wedding and I am convinced that finding someone better is almost impossible! I have never been a fan of photo shoots, all the fake smiling and the staged poses but Matt makes you laugh with all his quirkiness, energy and enthusiasm I don’t think there was one moment where I wasn’t laughing. Not only that but not once did we feel uncomfortable or that we were doing anything that we didn't want or feel like doing. The photos we have gotten have also been amazing and we cannot complain about anything! I would recommend him to anyone who needs a photographer.At the wedding we also had a second shooter whose name was Adam. The two of them play off one another so well and he was also a great person to have at the wedding. If you are planning a wedding and need a Photographer I really strongly, almost imploringly say you should ask for Matt and if you want a second shooter then ask for Adam as well! More...

Matt Ferrara is the greatest photographer ever! My husband and I worked with Matt for both our engagement photo shoot and our wedding day. We are both awkward picture takers and Matt’s sense of humor allowed us to loosen up and his talent resulted in incredible photos. He easily navigated complicated family dynamics and captured once-in-a-lifetime moments without ruffling the feathers of any family members involved. At no time throughout the day did anyone feel fatigue from posing or bored throughout the process. That’s saying a lot considering there were two teenagers in our wedding party! He was able to gently command attention when staging the formal shots and blended into the background when taking the candid ones. I don’t recall seeing him at all during the ceremony or other major events of the day. Honestly, some of his shots are so beautifully staged, we have no idea how he captured them! Matt was incredibly flexible traveling to multiple locations and his personality made it easy to work with him. Even our wedding guests found him charming. He felt more like an old friend than a hired vendor. We highly recommend Matt Ferrara and are so thankful for his stunning photos that will forever act as mementos of our wedding day. FIVE STARS!!!
