My company used Mass Junk to remove office partitions, very heavy old office desks, and junk from the basement.I was able to get a quote the same day I requested one. The quote they gave us was significantly less than the 2 other quotes we were given.I was able to schedule for NEXT day removal.The crew showed up early and were very nice and understanding of the time frame we had.They did an amazing job, very professional and handled my minor freak out when I couldn't find something (I found it, they had put it aside so they wouldn't take it by accident) very well and were very understanding.Highly recommend this company! Couldn't be happier.I never post reviews, but this was such a great experience that I had to share it.First two junk removal companies I called weren't even interested in the job, (one quoted me very high w/out even seeing the job, 2nd one didn't show up after saying they'd come by and give me a quote and didn't return my follow-up call) so I was very discouraged. Very glad I made the 3rd call.Had been calling based on reviews and proximity, and Mass Junk had the reviews but I was worried about them being based in Melrose, while I'm in Waltham.As it happens, they had a truck and crew available and very close by.Not 10 minutes after making the call the crew were here.The three guys (sorry, it all went so quick I didn't retain their names) were perfectly professional, friendly and polite.Had a couple of piles of what used to be an 8x10' wooden shed, and some assorted junk that had accumulated in it over the years, which had to be carried probably 25 - 30 yards uphill to the end of my driveway which is as close as any vehicle could get.Clearly, I overestimated the difficulty of the job, because these guys quoted me a price quite a bit lower than what I expected/was prepared to pay, and they got it done way quicker than I had assumed it would take.Exactly one hour from first contact to job well done, and it cost about 2/3 of what I expected to pay.How could I not be thrilled?Happy to post rave reviews here and elsewhere.I won't hesitate to call them again if the need arises and will definitely recommend them enthusiastically to others.Truly the best experience I've ever had hiring any kind of help.Even the best jobs I've had done, I had at least a couple of nits to pick; not this time - perfect!Thanks so much for exceeding my expectations by a long-shot and turning my dread over getting this job done into being honestly shocked and thrilled at how quick, cheap and easy it ended up being. In Boston one must hire a commercial waste hauler to dispose of a carpet. I hired MassJunk to remove the following items from my basement studio: 10X10 carpet; two large items of furniture ( a tall dresser and a tall bookcase); about 20 bankers boxes filled with books and 3 cans of paint.  They also rolled up two rugs that were under the carpet and put them in the basement. Great team! I recently moved and hired Mass Junk to come to my home three times over the course of a few months. Booked a time for a pickup on line and they confirmed an hour later. Day of the pickup the crew called to say they were on the way. I was very pleased and impressed with the excellent service that I received from Mass Junk on May 15, 2019. Brett and Nick were extremely efficient, professional, accommodating and friendly and I enjoyed talking with them. They did a thorough and excellent job of clearing out my basement and removing items from the first floor. The end result was truly amazing. Not only did they remove the items they cleaned up after the job was completed. Mass Junk was extremely easy to reach and responded promptly with a reasonable quote after a brief conversation of what we needed done (removal of sofa and loveseat from 2nd fl apartment with not much room to work! ) Scheduling was flexible and fast and the actual task itself took no more than 10 minutes! They were right on time, too! Charged $200 for the job, which after much research looking for donation places that would pick up (hoping for free) and finding that our beloved couches were not in as good a shape as we who loved them thought they were, we had no such luck, and still would have the problem of figuring out how we'd get them outside ourselves for WM curbside pick up. I wrote for a quote and the team came out the next day to remove some appliances from the basement. They were right on time and really professional but I had not measured the items (I figured if they had gotten in the basement of the house we just moved into, they could get out- turns out the opening had been narrowed and nothing would fit). It was absolutely my mistake and they were so nice, offered to cut things up or take what would fit. My spouse and i were in a bind.  Our closing date was pulled in 30 days by our buyer.   Our daughter was getting married with one week to go before closing.  Our garage and basement were packed.  Our backs were against the wall.  We didn't know how we were going to pull it all off.   We made a special, out of the norm request of Will and Dave and they agreed.  On the day of the "haul"  they sent a large truck and three polite and VERY hard working guys.   After 5 hours of hard work on an incredibly hot day we waved our excess stuff (junk) goodbye.I want to thank Will and Dave for stretching to help me out.  They didn't have to do what they did for us.  They were responsive, professional and friendly.   I did solicit quotes from 2 other companies and the price ended up being almost 40% less than the other two companies.  Bottom line.  Great company, Great service, Great people, More than fair pricing.  100% recommendation! Great service.We had a lot of stuff to remove, so they came for a walkthrough to help us determine which truck we needed (we ended up filling a 16' truck). They were generally prompt to respond to questions (we used Yelp's chat feature).On the appointment day they showed up a bit late (around 4PM instead of 2PM), but they gave us advance notice and frequent updates.Filling the truck took about 2h for a crew of 5 people.  We payed $900.
