Had a really great dinner here with some super attractive friends, at their recommendation.  I had codfish, some beef tartare and old bay seasoned fries.  Oh, and a great cocktail called the Farmboy, or something like that.Service was professional and friendly.  The tartare was really, really good.  My cod was also amazing.  Can't say enough good things about the food.  I heard the menu is seasonal so I look forward to going back in the fall.Another reason I look forward to going back in the fall is because I went on a hot summer night and the AC was not up to the task of keeping the restaurant cool.   I sweated my balls off while eating.  Luckily the food was so good I didn't mind that much but when they offered dessert, we just begged for the check so we could get outside where it was cooler and there was at least a breeze.Definitely recommend this when it's below 75 degrees outside! We showed up at 6:30 thinking we would have happy hour--whoops! Happy hour is 4-6pm. But we had drinks anyway: I had Send Roses and my friend had the Puddle Jumper (both $16). We also ordered the spiced fries ($8). The drinks came quickly and the service was very attentive (it was not at all busy on a Thursday evening). Both drinks were good enough. I had asked for whichever drink had the punchiest lemon and my drink was the recommendation, but all of its flavors were quite subtle. Nothing striking here.The real crowd (of 2) pleaser was the fries--thin, crispy, and flavorful, with a seemingly homemade ketchup-like sauce on the side. Yum! So very good in all ways. Creative menu. Fresh. Clean. Great service, very friendly. One of our favorites. Probably, if you have salt issues, request no salt added to food. Otherwise, great.

Wow! This place is still amazing! As farm to table as it gets in nyc. We love the friendly vibe this place puts off. So welcoming and you want to be here. Our bartender was great and our server was also perfect tonight! A great menu with so many fresh dishes you will have trouble figuring out what to order. The clam strip salad was unbelievable as was the burrata. For our dinners the special black bass over all these amazing vegetables, a cod fish that was perfect and the chicken which also was amazing. The crispy zucchini , which we can't figure out how they made it, was crisp and meaty, not the slightest bit mushy. Desserts were also perfectly executed! The most perfect Wedding location for us - made only so by the most caring, attentive and skilled team of staff. Chef Joey is charming, humble and a true master of his craft - our wedding dinner was simply exquisite. Peggy invested months of time in ensuring that every detail was covered; Maggie's flowers were a delight; Britney and her team couldn't do enough for us. Located on Carmine street in an attractive building with a bar and a large dining room. Cozy atmosphere with huge windows to watch people amble through the neighborhood. We really enjoyed the food, it was excellent. I especially enjoyed the spicy duck which was a special for the day. But the price was way too high for what we got. I brought 5 friends for brunch before the Pride parade and it was perfect. the food was fantastic and the waiter, while not the most outgoing, was consistent. Market Table is one of my "always visit" restaurants anytime I'm in New York City. This visit again reminded me why. The food is delicious, seasonal fare, showing skill and creativity from the kitchen. The wine list is carefully curated and pairs well with the cuisine. We reserved a table for a Sunday brunch and enjoyed delicious oysters, pork chilaquiles, eggs benedict, Cobb salad and buttermilk pancakes with bourbon syrup. Everything was delicious. We couldn't have hoped for a more PERFECT evening. The food was delicious, the space was as pretty as can be, every last detail attended to with great care. ..everything!
