This place is awesome. Great new equipment, a wonderful variety of classes to challenge every fitness level, awesome trainers and friendly staff. It makes you "want" to get up at the crack of dawn to exercise....okay, may not quite...but it is a great gym and my exercise buddy and I try to get there 4-5 times a week. Marcel's is a fabulous gym. The new facility is bright, clean and inviting. Trainers are helpful and friendly. The equipment is state of the art and there is enough variety in the equipment to keep me challenged and engaged. The women's locker room is clean and well organized. I feel so lucky to be part of the terrific group of members at Marcel's. Our new facility is so beautiful. State-of-the-art equipment. A beautiful new classroom. I have been going to Marcel's Total Fitness since 2010. They are very friendly and have the best equipment of East Tucson Gyms. Coming here you feel like family and they greet you by name. Went to sign up for spinning classes. Spinning bikes are OK. The room is not set up for spinning you need to move the bikes into position after other aerobics classes. Friendly staff. Not a state of the art club, but small club makes for a more personal experience. More...

I'm a member but due to working so much I haven't gone in months and I miss it. Use to go 5x a week when Natalia was the morning class teacher. Not a fan of the new one but he will push you hard. Natalia always came up with alternatives when I was unable to do the same exercise as the rest of the class. The other guy just does a circuit and wants everyone to use the same weights and not to stop. I'm not saying his training style is wrong but it's not for me. More...

I was looking to get back into shape and was referred to Marcel's from a friend. Now, both my kids (12 and 11) are going and all three of us look forward to it. Marcel and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, the equipment is clean and in excellent condition and there are plenty of classes to choose from. . . Spinning, Yoga, Zumba to name a few. It's great to get the kids into a gym where everyone has a very positive attitude, I hope this experience builds the foundation for them to be fit their whole lives. More...

i come here to meet with my personal trainer, Diane (who I give 5 stars - love her!).The gym is compact but has all that you need for a good workout. Decent cardio equipment and a great selection of free weights and machines. I hear the classes are good but I haven't taken any of them, but they seem very popular when I'm there and a class is going on. there are usually people there no matter what time I go but it never feels overcrowded which I really like.the front desk staff are always friendly and offer towels on your way in. the bathroom is always clean and i've never had an issue finding a locker to put my stuff into.i see a question about kids - this gym does not have a day care facility included.
