During the past several months, Marblex renovated a powder room and the master bathroom in my condominium and the final results are absolutely beautiful.
Both rooms now have amazing custom features such as a tear-drop shaped, green marble sink and vanity in the powder room, a green laser-jet cut medallion in the center of the powder room floor to complement the vanity, a stunning mosaic tile mural in the master bathroom and white floor with silver and gold flecks arranged in an optical illusion box design. With all the unique designer touches, the rooms also meet my basic needs for more storage, better lighting and new, upgraded fixtures.
I selected Marblex because they had supplied granite countertops for a kitchen renovation and a marble vanity in my dressing area about 10 years ago. I still receive numerous compliments on the color, design, cut, quality and beauty of those earlier products and would not have turned anywhere else for my bathroom renovations. The range of colors, options and beauty of Marblex's natural stones made choosing among them one of the most difficult parts of the renovation process. The designer who worked with me carefully explained the advantages of each type of stone and its care needs to assist me in selecting what was most practical for my rooms and circumstances.
The installation work in both rooms by Selcuk Once and his team was outstanding, from the wall tiles to the flooring, wainscoting and wallpapering. The wallpaper seams in paper with a delicate pattern could not meet any more perfectly, including at the corners of the room, and the tiles on the powder room floor are laid so that abstract lines flow perfectly from one tile to the next. The contract team worked with me to meet key deadlines and stayed into the evening to complete items like the wallpapering and installing a challenging showerhead on a Friday evening so I would not be without a shower over a weekend. They also repainted trim on the wainscoting over a weekend to stay on schedule when we decided a different color would better highlight the room.
It is probably rare that so much custom work goes without a single glitch and we did encounter one significant problem with the mosaic tile mural. Ozzy Oguz worked with me in an open and positive manner to address my concerns through a solution that I believe was fair to both of us and ensured that, in the end, I obtained the mural with the brilliant colors that I was hoping to see as the centerpiece of my new master bathroom and I could not be more pleased with the final result. Based on my experience, I would encourage homeowners who are incorporating unique custom design work to do extensive research to understand the effects of all selections, even ones like grout colors that might seem insignificant, and participate actively in every decision with your design team and contractors. With patience and the commitment to excellence, quality craftsmanship and total customer satisfaction that I have found over the years in working with Marblex, it is possible to bring dream rooms to life throughout your home!

Marblex recently provided expert customer service and high quality work on my mother’s countertop replacement. Even though my project was a small one, the Marblex staff handled it as if it was a big and significant one. The professionalism, friendliness, communications, and patience of everyone we interacted with from Ali the sales rep to Yair in production to those at the front desk, were outstanding. We actually went with Marblex despite them being more expensive than the competition. Now that we have the counters in our home, we are happy with our decision, here's why:
- Marblex was very professional and I felt they were the most competent of the other vendors we worked with. I wasn't concerned about their ability to deliver a quality product installed very professionally. The representative was engaged with us and not distracted the way some other vendors were.
- Marblex was the most informative and communicated best. They educated us on our various choices and consulted us through the process with things we didn't know but are glad we learned.
- Marblex was reasonable and accommodative. They worked with us on price/value when there was a significantly cheaper alternative. Later in the process, we had to make a last minute change before cutting, and since we bought a slightly smaller piece, they credited us the amount we didn't use instead of trying to hold us to the original sizing/pricing.
- Marblex has been in business a while and I believe they will be around to provide support down the road if something were to happen with the countertop.
- The installation was flawless and the stone is in pristine condition. The seams, cutouts, and edges look like they should. Even a tricky edge under a window fits perfectly.
The only downside was a slightly higher price, but after working with Marta (our rep), we went with Marblex because we wanted to have a great deal of confidence in our vendor and we didn't find that elsewhere. In the end, we feel great about our decision. Thank you Marta for your excellent guidance!

First of all, the designer selected a beautiful granite that goes extremely well with the cabinets and tile in my new master bathroom. The company did a terrific job with the installation. I noticed a few small chips in the granite and when I contacted them they responded immediately and offered to come out the very next day. The employee that came out for the repairs went above and beyond. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and was done in no time. He even repaired my granite in my kitchen and powder room even though Marblex had not installed that granite. After doing quite of bit of research on marble dealers / fabricators in the DMV, I selected Marblex for a coop renovation in DC.
Their quality and selection were fantastic, as is the fact that they seal the marble as part of the prep for delivery. The team members at Marblex are responsive, professional, and highly knowledgeable of their process and materials.
I was highly satisfied with the honed carrera marble counters that I purchased from Marblex and would recommend the team there for projects large and small.
Template measurement to delivery in about 9 days... you can't beat that!

Marblex sets the standard for all other stone fabricators. I truly don't know of any marble/granite shop that can create the interesting stone solutions that this local company routinely installs in homes all over the metro DC area.
State of the art equipment and large scale capability ensure that Marblex is able to produce pretty much whatever you and they can design for any project. Creative stone work, beautiful re-use of otherwise waste stone, and safety of workers are just a few of the nuances you'll discover there that you won't find elsewhere.
We are Fortunate that our showroom is located close by and we are always eager to partner with them on projects large and small. A visit to have a look at their spectacular displays would not be a waste of your time.

Marblex did the island and counters in my kitchen (monte bella), the counters in my bar area and butler's pantry (taj mahal), and lastly the master bath vanity counter (marble). I worked with Tom and Marta over a period of several months during the material selection, fabrication and installation phases. They were both really great and accommodating.
