Zero stars. My tenant used them for move out cleaning. Tenant was given standard Vacating Guidelines to cover with cleaners. Provided paid invoice for $1099. Property was not cleaned well, floors still dirty (I cleaned several spots with a wet sponge to see if the floors were stained, they were just still dirty, behind appliances dirty, ACs and stove vents not cleaned, bathroom tiles dirty.... We have been calling/emailing for 4 days without response. They have a 100% Guarantee on the website- apparently they aren't trying to make good on that in this case. More...

This is the first time I booked a cleaning service & I am definitely impressed with the professionalism & attention to detail their employees demonstrated through every step of the process. The employees handling the booking were great at explaining all of their services and protocols and the cleaning team were so personable and thorough with their services. They managed to make my rental sparkle and shine at a level I didn't think was possible....the bathroom shower and kitchen cabinets looked brand new!I also booked the deep cleaning for the carpet and I am glad I paid the extra for this service - the person who did my carpet cleaning managed to get out the stains I didn't think would be possible to remove......the carpet was a level of fluffy I didn't think could ever be achieved since I have never once cleaned it for all of my time renting there! With my husband deployed, studying full time and looking after a toddler it was getting overwhelming trying to keep up with the cleaning. I used Maid in Oahu for a move out cleaning and added on the carpet cleaning w/ America's Best Carpet Cleaning which was charged separate. Both booked through Maid in Oahu. They were referred by my property manager so I went with them to ensure I get my full security deposit back.Altogether I paid $935 and it was such a waste.For the price I thought I was paying for professional cleaners with professional products to clean the unit. Instead it was 2 guys that were cleaning the place shirtless. They had a regular vacuum, regular cleaning products. Nothing fancy. Even after my place was cleaned it didn't feel clean, like I paid almost a thousand for it to be done. The floors were all streaky, I had to point out spots they missed like gunk on the counter, hair and dust in the freezer, spots on the floor they missed. I paid an extra $5 for the dishwasher to be cleaned but when I opened it it was still dirty. When I told them I paid extra to have this cleaned all they did was wipe it down with a cloth. When I went to check the bathroom one of the guys asked if my shower was broken. I said no? And turned on the shower with no problem. Why didn't they call asking how to turn on the showers? How do you clean a bathtub with no water? Probably just wiped it down like they did the dishwasher. When booking the carpet cleaning through Maid in Oahu they asked if I have a "male" to help the carpet cleaner carry up the equipment because I live on the 2nd floor. I told her I didn't so she said I'll be charged $50 for them to hire someone to help bring up the equipment. It's noted as a "stair fee" on the invoice. If you own a company that requires heavy equipments you should have a plan that doesn't require you to have the customer help carry nor be charged for you to hire someone else to help load. And the funny thing is, the carpet cleaner came alone! When I asked the next day why I was still charged the $50 if he brought it up himself they said it was because he had to use a special equipment to bring it up. The person on the phone made no mention of that. And when the carpet cleaner came he said I didn't have to wait or come back when he was done. He was going to text me when he's done, leave the windows open, ceiling fans in the room on, and lock up after himself. I came back later that night to ALL lights on, even the lights in the living room where there was no carpet, doors UNLOCKED, and my AC running even though it was off when I left. DON'T give this company your money. You might end up with a nasty home and them not refunding your money. Ignore the service guarantee on their website it's not true. We were charged $807.xx to conduct a full move in cleaning service and carpet shampoo. The house is filthy. So, filthy. Appears the house wasn't cleaned. Maybe brush over. I can't tell exactly what they did clean. Nasty bathrooms. Nasty kitchen. Nasty streaked floors. Windows seals filthy. However, they only want to give us back 3/4 of our money, $543.xx.. Seriously? Our home is only 1100 sq ft. They are thieves. I emailed them. No response via text, email or phone. I had to reached out to them via phone. On the phone, the employee, manage or owner had a very unconcerned whatever whenever attitude. Apparently I'm suppose to live in this filthy house while they spend my money and they decide my fate. This is the most blatant screw over the customer service I have ever encountered. I'm 62 yo. I'm a veteran so I've moved a lot and have always used a cleaning team whenever I moved.Our real estate agent recommended this company. So, I didn't do any rating checks which is my normal process. Amazing and fast work cleaning a 1125sqft apartment for move out. They sent two ladies who arrived on time and were done by early afternoon. Impeccable service! The team was prompt with an estimate for my request, and flexible in scheduling. Their work was thorough and detailed. I requested a deep cleaning of my two bed/two bath apartment, including cleaning the refrigerator. Once they finished, the fridge looked brand-new and you could barely tell that a dog lives in my apartment! From the ceiling fans to cleaning all of my collectibles, they did a fantastic job from top to bottom. And here's what impressed me the most - I have a lot of collectibles and figurines and trinkets, and not only did they clean everything beautifully, they put everything back exactly where it was. This was such a friendly service no matter who I spoke to. They were all kind attentive, and were able to accommodate the service for me on such a short notice (about a week out). Once the service was established, they were constantly in communication with their email and text reminders, which was very helpful for me. The cleaning service itself was great! They were detail oriented and you can feel the cleanliness upon walking into the unit. They let me know when they arrived, updated me as they went, and also when they concluded the cleaning. They then followed up to make sure I did not need anything else, and were open to going back to the unit if necessary (which it was not as they left it immaculate!)I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and I plan on using their services again in the future! Maid in Oahu was fantastic! I hired them to do a move out cleaning on my five bedroom, four bathroom house. Three cleaning techs were sent and it took them five and a half hours to complete the entire house. The movers had already emptied the house so there was no remaining furniture or debris. They did an excellent job on the aging tile in the bathrooms and the facets looked brand new. I hired a different company to clean the carpets so a can't review that part of their service. The cleaning techs were super nice and very very efficient. They didn't even take a break. I would definitely recommend their service. The only negative is that it was completely overpriced. I wish I could have tipped them but my bill was over $1100. Again, I'm pleased with the service, they did great work but wow, that seems like a hefty price tag. More...

Wow, totally impressed!!! I called Main in Oahu at the last minute to clean an apartment prior to a tenant move-in. They were able to accommodate on short notice. The person who answered the phone, Maya, should give lessons in customer service! She was friendly, professional, helpful and informative. This was my first time using Maid in Oahu and it will probably be my last. Everything went great in terms of getting a quote, setting up an appointment, and answering any of my questions. I was scheduling a cleaning crew to do a move in/move out cleaning on a rental property I own. The crew was to let themselves in via a lockbox, and it was my understanding that they would call when they were close to finished to do a walk through and make sure I was happy with their work. They were scheduled to arrive at 9 and I was told they would be there about 3 hours. I showed up at 11:40am (after receiving no phone call), and they were gone. I figured, "No problem, as long as the place is clean." I decided to do a walk through myself and found the kitchen counters and floors to still be dusty and a few spots in the bathroom neglected as well. I couldn't tell if the crew had even been in the unit because the tenants had always kept the place looking good. I just wanted the place to feel refreshed and to smell good when the new tenants moved in that afternoon. I called the company (a person picked up [always a plus]) and I asked her if anyone had actually been out to the property. She assured me that they had and that they just arrived early b/c it was a lockbox situation and that they had already left. I expressed my concerns about the job that they had done and she offered to call them back or to give me a discount on the service. Because I had tenants coming, I opted for the $80 discount, and I went ahead and touched up the spots that had been neglected.After hanging up the phone, I went into the bathrooms and saw what I thought was toilet paper floating in one of the bowls. I tried to flush it, but the bowl just filled with water and then very slowly drained over the course of the next few minutes. I tried again. No luck. Holding my nose, I reached into the bowl and pulled out the floating mass, and it turns out it was a paper towel. Great. I text my tenants and asked if they had any issues with the toilet, and if they had flushed paper towels down the toilet. They assured me they hadn't. So I text back the woman at the company that I think one of the crew had flushed some paper towels down the toilet and now it's clogged. "Do you have a plumber on call to fix this?" No response. I decide to just go to City Mill and buy a plunger b/c I needed one anyway. Plunger doesn't solve the problem. [Side note: While I'm dealing with all of this the husband and child of one of the cleaners shows up at my door looking for his wife, who left at least an hour before.] I call the company and no one picks up. So I call a plumbing company that fortunately has someone in the neighborhood, he comes over and runs a line down the toilet, pulls up a few more paper towels (I took photos to prove it and shared with the company) and voila the toilet is working again. While he's there, my phone rings and the woman on the phone says, "Did you already call for a plumber?" "Yes, he's here fixing the toilet right now." "Ok, just send us the invoice and we'll take care of it." Cool. Plumber finishes the job ($100), the tenants move in, problem solved. I email her the invoice, and she writes me back and says, "We received the invoice. We will escalate the issue to the manager in charge and we will get back to you for resolution as soon as possible." Wait two days, and then I get an email back saying, "We have spoken with the cleaning team that serviced your property. We specifically spoke with the individual cleaner that cleaned this bathroom, our cleaner said she did not dispose of any paper towels down that toilet. It is our protocol to dispose of paper towels, and anything other than toilet paper, in the trash. They almost always pack their trash with them as well. It's our experience that significant clogs like this take time to develop. Furthermore, we have no knowledge of how the toilet was used prior to the cleaner's arrival. Given this, we cannot accept responsibility for this clog."If you're going to use this company, get everything in writing, document everything, flush your toilets before they come over, make sure you record yourself flushing your toilets (don't forget the time stamp), and make sure you insist on being there to check their work before they leave. I don't enjoy having such an adversarial/litigious vibe with the companies I choose to support, so I won't be using them in the future. I understand that people are very picky about their cleaning issues, and I'm sure this company gets their unfair share of headaches from customers looking to take advantage of them and their services. I felt like I was operating in good faith and being honest about the issues they caused. We've agreed to disagree, but that's a pretty lame resolution from my perspective. If using a lockbox, remind them to spin the numbers before they go because they left my lockbox set on the open code, which makes me really glad I showed up when I did. More...

I called Maid in Oahu to schedule a cleaning for a small studio bedroom and bathroom. The representative told me that she wasn't sure if a cleaner would be available on the date I requested so she said she would mark it down in their calendar and then get back to me to confirm if there was a cleaner available. I did not get a call back so I called back a few days later and was told the cleaning was not scheduled. The representative I spoke with (who I think was the same person I originally talked to) found a cleaner for the original date I requested and just changed the time.Kaye, the cleaner showed up within her scheduled time frame and did a fantastic job. There was only one cleaner and she did not charge me extra for cleaning the blinds because the room was so small and there was no furniture or kitchen. She did a good job of wiping everything down. The people I've encountered at this company (both VacayClean and Maid in Oahu) have always been hard working, honest and pleasant to work with. I will definitely hire them again and again. We hired Maid in Oahu to clean our home that we moved out of. There was nothing to tidy, just wanted a deep clean. I came in a day later and I had to scrub all the window sills, the kitchen counters and a shuttered door that was still dirty. Not sure what took them 3 hours.

I booked with Maid in Oahu for move-out cleaning when I was leaving a rental unit. I chose them because I liked there was a (reasonable) flat rate fee and the website made it clear what services were included. It was also easy to schedule the appointment online. I received a confirmation email upon booking and a reminder email a few days before the service. And the day of the cleaner called me before she arrived to check if it was ok that she'd be about 10 minutes early. We also requested I get a call an hour before the service was finished so I would have enough time to head back to the apartment and inspect it (the company recommends the inspection, otherwise you kind of waive your right to their 100% satisfaction guarantee). The cleaners (there were two of them) did a great job - they cleaned everywhere, including inside closets and drawers and on top of cabinets. After packing and having the movers in, the apartment wasn't in great shape but you'd never know it was such a mess after the cleaners finished. It took them a little over four hours. They were so nice, the lady even offered to help me carry a few things I had left at the apartment back to my car, which wasn't necessary. Overall I would highly recommend their services! I had a move out deep cleaning done and it was completed to perfection by two very nice people. They were in and out in about 4 hours and took the time to clean literally every inch of my apartment. They even got rust off my light switch and cleaned the ceilings- very happy customer!<br><br>I was a little nervous going in to this situation just because it felt pricey to me but after getting a few other quotes, their prices are on par with other island cleaning services. It is a terrible experience. First of all the cleaners didn't come on time, Almost one hour late. I ordered a move-out package, and they said it is $569 for a 2500 sqf house including carpet cleaning which I think it's a fair price of good cleaning work. But once the ladies come into house starts to add a lot additional charge, for example attached garage, screens, windows, kind $300 more you have to pay. Worse more, the carpet cleaning is not carpet shampoo, cleaning only means vacuum. So totally the charge is almost $1000. Will never use them again. More...

Wow! These ladies are amazing! My mother in law was coming into town and we needed to have our condo cleaned big time. The booking was simple, the ladies arrived on time, and the whole process was super simple. <br>The cleaning was spectacular!
