What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
40 years experience has taught me that it is more important to find out what the audience wants to dance to rather than trying to convince them to dance to what the DJ thinks is good. Of course, a broad knowledge of different eras and genres of music is essential. A seasoned professional will know how to mix current hits with great songs of the past and other genres so everyone will have an enjoyable evening dancing.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Interactive and very responsive to the desires of the audience.
How long have you been interested in magic?
I started studying Magic while in High school I worked my way through College in southern California as a restaurant Magician and Disco DJ in the 70s. I was as member of the Magic Castle for 3 years.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
Every performance is different based upon the desires of the client. For Magic, I can provide strolling close up magic, and intimate parlor show for guests, or a larger stage performance for a full audience. As for DJ services, I have extensive night club mixing experience. But I retired from club work 8 years ago to concentrate on corporate and private events. I always bring a huge digital music library and am happy to take requests. Wireless microphones and Dance floor lighting is always included.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating an atmosphere of celebration that makes the client's party a success.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Music and theater were my majors in College. this is what I trained for.
Why should our clients choose you?
This has been my profession, my nine to five job for 40 years. Longer than many other DJs and performers have been alive. And that experience has taught me the most important service I can ever provide is satisfying the customer. that it the only way I have been able to stay in business 40 years.
