How long have you been interested in magic?
I have been performing magic professionally over 48 years. I started out doing magic for diners at Robert Redford's Sundance Tree Room Restaurant outside of Provo, Utah. Since then I have done thousands of shows, been on TV several times, have been voted "Favorite Family Entertainer" by Utah Family Magazine for 6 years. I recently was awarded 1st place in the 2019 Utah magicians competition of the International Brotherhood Of Magicians.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
Depending on the show you can expect:
Kids shows: lots of fun stories, colorful magic effects, audience participation so that they all feel a part of the show.
Adult shows: magic designed to entertain the older audiences. All the magic is in a humorous vein, totally CLEAN in content, and of course uses some folks from the audience for an up close and personal view of the magic.
What do you love most about your job?
The fun of magic is providing others with a magical experience. A magical gift, if you will. I remember many times when I have experienced magic presentations and felt that little "What the...!!!" feeling. I really enjoy seeing that expression pass across the faces of those in my audience.
What inspired you to start your own business?
First of all it was part-time during a busy professional engineering career. After retiring, I decided to turn it into a full-time business. The inspiration was seeing other performers working a business that gave them great pleasure as well as seeing their audiences experience the magic as well.
Why should our clients choose you?
That is hard to say. Everyone's needs are different, so I won't give a slick, pat answer. I just ask that we talk and discuss your particular needs to see if my services can meet and exceed those needs. If I don't feel I can provide you the entertainment experience you need, I will say that.

Yes, I can provide a magic show online (ZOOM) and I also teach Magic School classes, both in person in Herriman, UT and also online.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I sanitize hands and props and have helpers do the same. As concerns dwindle, I always meet the desires of the client and their comfort with procedures
Salt Lake School of Magic
I own and run the Salt Lake City School of Magic. We teach critical interpersonal skills to students disguised as magic tricks. This is a world-wide curriculum, and I am the only one in Salt Lake to be licensed to teach it. Custom-designed props, 5 different courses (8 90-minute lessons per course) usually taught once/week through school year and in 4-day summer camps. Contact us for details on next upcoming course
