The food was very homey feeling with an Eclectic vibe. I feel like everything had one herb or spice too many. I enjoyed an herbaceous spring roll with smoked shrimp, gunthorp Farms roasted chicken, and campanelle with a nettle pesto. Although it was fun trying the combination of flavors. The price is a little too expensive for me to give this 5 stars but I did enjoy the meal, just thought it was a little over- priced.

Came here for vegan, of which there are a number of selections. Food was good, but perhaps not exceptional. Trendy, so busy...as in line out the door. Service decent. They claim to use seasonal ingredients, which is a plus. Organic coffee available. No gluten-free menu but a number of gluten-free selections. Outdoor seating. A bit on the pricey side for what you get, but not necessarily unreasonable.

Great service, super friendly staff, great ambience, great everything! A must for breakfast in Chicago. French toast is awesome, so are their pastries and the burrito. Coffee either hot or cold is tasty. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Chicago.

A true treasure! Coming here is an experience- from the service, to the food, to the tiny flowers on the table- it is all amazing! I got the Royale breakfast sandwich and it was one of the best bites of food ever! We also got the pastry trio and it was delicious- not predictable! Get in line early!

Food great, interior could do with an update. Had to wait 15 minutes for somewhere to sit. Hipster/trendy kids vibe. People standing outside waiting, very busy and not enough space. Personally I prefer places with a chilled ambience, less about the people watching or being 'cool'. Once was enough.

Blown away by the richness of each dish made by simple and fresh ingredients! We tried almost everything from their spring menu and it was fantastic. The service is great at the bar seat that we took (not as long of a wait!) They’re breakfast cocktails are deliciously inventive as well! Would definitely recommend even with the wait!

I have never been disappointed by Lulas. Wonderful farm to table dishes, inventive cocktails, and good craft beer. Go for brunch/lunch during the week but absolutely come back for dinner. Great veggie options and even a vegetarian tasting menu. Cuisine is slightly inventive and elegant but they manage to do it in such a casual and comfortable way. A great go to for dates, out of town guests, or just dinner with friends.

We went out of our way to visit this restaurant while on vacation because our travel agent recommended it. Was not disappointed! Drinks were good and there were some interesting food choices. Our waitress took good care of us and made awesome suggestions. Great night out!

The Banana French toast is amazing! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the chicken sausage gave me all the life I needed! Cassidy was the best bartender with an exorbitant personality and attention for service. I ordered a white bison which was well crafted and delicious. I WILL BE BACK!

So good. It's nice to see a restaurant with a thoughtful and well balanced approach to a vegetarian tasting. The vegetarian tasting was so good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The food was all good.. just unique and delicious across the board. Our server (who was also the bartender because we sat in the bar) was so knowledgeable about the food and happy to answer questions. The benefit of sitting at the bar was that he gave great suggestions on pairings with the food as well. We had a great time.... One of the best meals I've had in ages enhanced by great service and a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. I look forward to the opportunity to eat here again and. Would highly recommend it to anyone! :-)

I went with a group of ten and we all passed our dishes around so I had a taste of many of the cafe and dinner menu items. Not one item was "meh". Every dish had interest, fine flavor and made me want to take another bite, more than one. I will definitely come back to try brunch and further explore dinner. Service is excellent. Nice atmosphere. Not really a place to bring your kids though. It's an adult spot. Thanks for a great birthday dinner! Top notch!

I've been to Lula many times, especially since it's about ten minutes from my apartment. I've never been disappointed with a meal. Their staff is always welcoming and excited about the menu. It's easy to tell that everyone here cares very much about what they do. Their brunch is excellent, although I think the Bloody Mary (or Maria) is better at Longman, and I usually miss out on brunch since the wait can be long. Lula is definitely in my top five restaurants in Chicago.

Parking can be tricky. I recommend Pay-to-park. Either grab a sit at the bar or a table, it's all equally rad. Don't neglect their food specials, never had a bad dish. Environment is cute and well lit. I wouldn't recommend coming here during peak hours. Such as brunch, or happy hour times. I've waited for an hour for a table before. I still keep coming back.

Loved this for brunch the portions were generous and the food was delicious. It's got a great Lively atmosphere with a bar and seating on one side and just seating in the other side. we had to breakfast pastries and shared a main and it was certainly enough food for us. Will definitely be visiting this Cafe again the next time I'm in Chicago. We didn't have to wait when we went but we did go during the week and off peak hours and it was still crowded inside. I do think it would be worth the wait to eat here even on the weekends.

Was worth all the praise we had heard prior to dining there. One of best brunches you can have in Chicago. I've got several pictures to help capture our experience there. Enjoy everyone. Worth the time & $. Just plan ahead. The waits can get up to two hours plus. The pancakes were amazing & a steal at 8$ for a stack of them (3) Their organic pork sausages were the best I've had in years😊

Tasty. Inventive. Off beat. Short on recognizable comfort food, but if you're willing to go venture outside your comfort zone, plenty of tasty fresh options. Bit of a hipster vibe. Parking and actually getting to the restaurant convoluted because of its location off Logan Blvd.

Delicious food in Logan Square for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The food is excellent no matter what you get. Don't let the portion sizes fool you- the food is super rich and you will definitely get filled up. The coffee is excellent too and I recommend it. The place is very popular so there is almost always a wait- they can take your cell phone number though and text you when your food is ready and there are some nearby shops you can check out to pass the time.

Beautiful decor and delicious food! We came Monday morning right as they opened—it was the perfect time to visit. We enjoyed the buttermilk pancakes (so light and fluffy!), egg platters, bacon (thick and perfectly cooked), beets, and pear cranberry coffee cake (YUM!). The potatoes that came with the eggs were especially yummy. This is such a cute place, with friendly staff—a must-visit in Logan Square.
