I just left longevity, and my life has changed! The owner was a pleasure to talk to, his space was spotless, and his food was out of this world amazing! And to think that I've lived nearby for 22 months and had never stopped in before?!?!? I surely did NOT realize what I've been missing! Last evening I actually THRILLED at eating a "restaurant meal." I think I really "scored" when my very first order included the Fill Me Cheese-Steak Wrap, with a side of Millet-Quinoa Pilaf, plus a 16-oz., glass of their fresh-drawn, chilled Young Thai Coconut water. I don't remember EVER feeling so good about eating a meal at ANY kind of eating-place before! (And I'm nearly 70 years old! :) ) And the people here are SO down-to-earth. My boyfriend and I are from out of town but we were visiting Snoqualmie Falls. Longevity Foods was the closest vegan restaurant on Happy Cow so we decided to give it a try and we weren't disappointed! The owner was an absolute pleasure to speak with and we felt right at home. He even brought us out a free blueberry cheesecake cup to share which was heavenly and so appreciated. I ordered the Nilla Nog and the "Cheesesteak" which was marinated mushrooms and cashew cheese. You folks are gonna save my life. I just picked up a selection of prepared food to last me a week or so, from your meal plan menu. You were right; getting a platter in order to taste-test the most items at once was a great idea. They are all so delicious!! I've had your menu items before (falafel wrap, yum! Hummus, double-yum!!), and your packaged items (lemon coconut bites, yum again!), and your pantry items (such delicious hemp seed!). Really, though, I was at the end of my rope with body pain and tension, etc, but I can't do raw without your delicious prepared foods because I don't have time. This is the best vegan resturaunt in King County, for sure. I'd say the whole state, but I haven't eaten at all of them in WA. Lakita and Murali have performed a fusion of masculine and feminine energies enabling their culinary abilities to surpass those of any one person. They are world class chefs with the wisdom of spiritual gurus, not a common combination. When I eat/drink this cuisine, my body begins to vibrate with energy. Best of all, their food and water standards are top tier, and it doesn't matter what you're eating or drinking when you visit, even the ice cream and the cakes, the food will leave you nourished and guilt free. The food here is amazing, As are the staff, and owners. The best service one could ask for. When I order food from here I know who is making it from scratch, local as possible, and made with love. I work at Longevity Foods and do enjoy the tasty beverages and deli items on a regular basis. Yet I still had host of annoying issues: aches and pains, sleeping, reflux, slow recovery from workouts. So, I decided to try putting myself on the meal plan here, where I could have the chef make all of my food for a week. It cost me less than $100 for more food than I can eat. By the 4th day, I was sleeping better, and all of my aches and pains went away, as well as the kind of bloated feelings I had been having. I expected some health benefit after a couple of weeks, but to see it halfway through the first week was a little astonishing. And did I mention the food is delicious? More...
