I went here recently, having just moved to Colorado and in need a new location to get a haricut. I gave them a call at around 10:30am and they were able to make the appointment for the same day, only hours later. I met with Carla, who owns the salon, and she gave me one of the finest haircuts I've received in years. She was very attentive to my requests and felt comfortable weighing in with her own suggestions based on my hair as well. She made the entire process enjoyable and relaxing--especially the wash at the end, which bordered between getting my hair shampoo'd and my head massaged. Super relaxing. I found the price fair (I wouldn't describe it as either an amazing deal nor unfair) and on par with other quality establishments. I've already made my next appointment for a shave, so it should also be noted that there are quite a number of services provided here. Definitely recommend! More...

Exactly one week ago I went to Locks to get a haircut with Carla. As soon as I walked in the door back home my husband of 33 years looked at me and said that is the best haircut you have ever had. Tacha is amazing! My son is so picky about his hair. He has his own style but has a hard time describing exactly what he wants to the stylist. Tacha was very patient and understanding. She took her time talking to him, looked over his outgrown hair, and managed to get it cut exactly how he wanted it. Murphys Law, I find the best hairstylist I ever had right before having to move to San Francisco. There are a few reasons, first Carla really cares about her technique and so gentle as weird as that may sound. I was only in CO a few months, came from a fancy salon that did a few cuts, BAAM, done and charged a fortune. Carla, made about three times as many cuts with the scissors and I thank her as my hair looks so thick the way she cut it and her prices were very reasonable, and I made sure to tip her good. I told her cut it the way you would if you had long hair. Turned out to be fantastic, I am so happy. My boyfriend was going to her for a few months and swore she was the best hairstylist, I was scared as I had another one in Illinois that I thought was the best, then CARLA did her magic and Carla is my new fav. stylist.
