I can't even begin to explain what an amazing decision it was to work with Limelight. From my first call with Ric I knew that this company was something special and someone who could help a crazy bride plan her Michigan wedding from California, in seven months.
From emails leading up to closer months, followed by phone calls and check ins, I consistently felt listened to and on the same page with the team.
I had the most amazing night of my life, dancing to my favorite songs with my favorite people and I have amazing (and some silly!) shots of my best friends and I (and my husband and his!) getting ready, the breathtaking photos of us becoming Mr & Mrs and the memories captured of a moment I will cherish forever, dancing with my daddio.

We have zero regrets booking Limelight as both our DJ & Photographer. Ric, Dustin & Philip were all so talented and such professionals - I had multiple people comment on how sharp they looked at the wedding too.

My husband and I were so excited to receive our album, we couldn't open the box fast enough! We absolutely LOVE our album, the quality of the album itself and the pictures make it invaluable. So blessed to have an amazing thing to treasure for decades.

I was very overwhelmed in my search to find the perfect photographer for our wedding. After my first phone call with Richard, I was put at ease and really excited to start working with them! He gave me a lot of great ideas for pictures which we ended up doing! On my wedding day, Richard got there early and captured some really great “morning of” shots. Unfortunately, right before our ceremony began the sky’s became dark and rain began. I was extremely appreciative to find out that Richard already prepared for this and preciously took pictures of the beautiful sky earlier that day to Put in place of the dark sky we had. He went above and beyond the entire day!! And the best part, we received our proofs the week after our wedding!! Working with the Limelight team was truly remarkable. It didn’t matter who I spoke with, everyone was friendly and helpful. Darryl our photographer was one in a million. He took some unbelievable shots and was extremely personable. Leon our DJ did so well keeping the party going and was so kind. Richard was Amazing! From the first thing in the morning arriving to the salon to capture pictures of the girls getting hair & make up done to arriving at the venue to get the guys getting around! I just spent over an hour going through the moments he captured, some we had no idea he had gotten! Did I mention he was the only one taking pics!! Hundreds of them, all beautiful. Limelight was outstanding! Both our photographer and DJ were with Limelight and they both went above and beyond to make our special day was everything we envisioned it would be. They answered every phone call, e-mail, and even text message from this anxiety ridden bride and every time made me feel so confident and at ease about my big day. Richard, our photographer, was so into my wedding day and so involved and supportive that he felt like a friend I'd known forever. He was truly invested in making sure everything went smoothly and perfectly. Our photos were more than we had ever thought they'd be. He had taken photos of things we didn't even notice and we got to relive the whole day all over again from start to finish when we got our photos back. They are beautiful. Nick, our DJ, was also such a huge part of our day. He called us a week before and made sure everything was planned out exactly the way we wanted it. From the timeline of the day to the song choices he answered every question we had and made so many special things possible for us. We used limelight for my brothers wedding and I HIGHLY recommend them! Have. Been in and gone to several weddings, I have never seen a photographer as amazing as Richard! He got shots I had no idea he was even taking and I got to relive parts of the day that were a little hectic I had forgotten about. our wedding was last night and let me just say when limelight says we do i do perfectly they truly! I could not have had a better company to make my day perfect and it absolutely was. sharon slayed as our officiant. Limelight provided our photography, officiant, and DJ services. Richard was professional and easy to work with! He spent over 1. 5 hours of his time at each of our meetings during the planning process to ensure all of the details were covered. He captured amazing photos and the emotions that encompass the special day. Sharon was our officiant and she was so sweet and passionate about her job. She took her time with our wedding party during the rehearsal and provided guidance to help make our wedding day perfect for us! Nick was our DJ and he was awesome!! He started with music that appealed to different generations and then a dance party broke out after dinner. The music that Nick played had the dance floor packed for the rest of the night! completely professional and outstanding work. even with last minute things thrown at them like the power at the church shorting out and the mother of the son being baptized adding a last minute must have photo list. .. they stay put together and totally accommodating. Sat through a catholic mass on a hot summer day with no air and not a single complaint while the whole family complained it was so hot. stunning photos and beautiful work. My experience with Limelight started 8 months ago at the Lansing bridal show and was followed by a consultation a few days later. My fiancée and I worked with Ric every step of the way having frequent meetings throughout our planning time via phone, e-mail, and in person. Ric didn’t just help us to plan our DJ needs for the reception, they took care of all sound for the entire day. Ric provides his extensive expertise to help us plan small details leading up to the big day and helped us create the most beautiful wedding day. When Nick arrived on the day of, he was polite, professional, and kept the day moving along by using our music requests we made and creating a playlist that represented our tastes and mood we were trying to set for the evening. I can’t say thank you enough to the limelight team that were behind the scenes helping us make this a magical, beautiful day. If you need a DJ service, this is the place to go. Limelight had no issues with this, and we were able to complete 99% of our communication via phone and email. They were responsive and thorough in all aspects of our wedding planning, including helping with a very detailed timeline. The Limelight team were excellent to work with. We did an in person meeting and hired Richard and his team that day. We used both the DJ and photography services and felt like we paid a very fair price for their professional services. Our DJ Leon kept the party moving and lively and took suggestions from us in the planning stages. Richard also worked with us beforehand to get the tricky uplighting in our venue just right. We were extremely happy with the DJ & photography package from Limelight. Communication was a little rocky at first because there are multiple email addresses that are associated with the business which made it difficult to track who was on the other end of the email, but a simple phone call generally cleared up any confusion I had. As far as the results- our DJ kept the party going and the photos we got back were great. Tasteful and timeless, but still fun and creative. Richard was willing to go anywhere we asked and came up with lots of ideas for shots. We were also very pleased with the turn around time on both our engagement and our wedding photos.
