What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Keeping one eye on the story. Great photographs don't only present an image, they tell a story. Whether it's a family portrait or an image to be used to support a marketing campaign, the viewer should always be able to intuitively understand what you're trying to say about the subject.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What message are you trying to convey? Do you have any preexisting collateral? Do you have a color scheme? Is there a style or look that really inspires you?
Describe your creative process.
I like to get to know you a little before I begin working. I'll get a feel for your business, mission statements, and market demographics. From there, I'll take what information I've been given and begin to start building your custom graphics.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Please provide a clear description of the service you would like me to provide, as well as the end goal you have in mind for the end product. Any further information that you feel would help speed up my progress. This includes color preferences, inspiration pieces, etc.
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to help others visualize and meet their marketing goals through graphic and photographic support.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working with many freelance designers during my corporate career, I came to appreciate the ability they possessed to work on a plethora of projects, rather than endlessly working on the same projects.
