Life's Kitchen is more than just a great restaurant. The fact that this place helps give independence and a path for young adults looking to get their GED and start the rough path to adulthood is such a vital help to our community. The food and service here is wonderful, and everyone is so friendly. This restaurant is a great place to get more than just lunch, but a place where you know you being there has helped make a real difference in someone else's life. What the Life's Kitchen organization is doing for young people who have had challenges in their lives makes this my favorite place to go for lunch. I love to support their program. The food tastes good and is a reasonable price. The menu has some simple comfort food, and some classics with a twist. Vegetarian options are available.Parking is difficult here. It is best to plan on parking a ways away and walking on the Greenbelt, or taking the free Boise State shuttle. They are only open Tuesday through Friday for lunch. More...

We had Life's Kitchen cater lunch for 2 days during a training event May 11 and 12th. Wow, were we impressed! They're open for lunch only, and the food is delicious. If you're a BSU student it's only $5.00, otherwise $8-9 depending on what u order. Menu had maybe 8 items when I was there last week. High end fair that's very nicely prepared. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Culinary students work the kitchen, and the front too for the most part. Decor was clean simple bistro style. Perfect place to have lunch, or take it to go. I didn't call ahead, so I did wait 10-15min. for my food. Worth the wait for sure. More...
