I unfortunately have to agree with Alexander on his 1-star rating. My wife and I had 4 deck posts replaced due to wood rot and also opted to have our deck washed and sealed. First, the most pleasant part of this process was dealing with Edwin. Edwin is the individual who came out to provide us with our quote, which was very reasonable. Edwin was very personable, appeared to be knowledgeable and left giving me a feeling of confidence that the job was going to be completed successfully. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing I have to say when dealing with Decksoldier/Leonpro. I guess the saying is true, "you get what you pay for." The scheduling process with this company is extremely unorganized. I called the company several times to confirm when they had us scheduled to begin work and I could never get a clear cut answer. It was always "by the end of the week" or "should be later today" but they couldn't give me timeframe. In order for them to get onto our deck, we would need to be home so this was extremely inconvenient. When the individuals came to replace our deck posts, they arrived at 11am and continued to work until 10:30pm! We live in a townhouse with neighbors all around us. Although we appreciate the efforts and hardwork, it was quite unprofessional and disrespectful not only to us but also our neighbors. The workers dug up our posts and placed the soil and rock in the common grounds of our HOA. They never asked about this but simply dumped buckets of dirt on these common grounds. Our HOA is very strict with these types of things so we had to remove the rock and soil so we wouldn't get fined. Before the digging could take place they needed to remove pavers from our patio. This patio is something we truly enjoy and have spent a good bit of money on. Unfortunately, they failed to replace the pavers with the quality they were orginally installed with. They used "play" sand to install the pavers and left big gaps that were never orignally there. Additionally, our deck has an underdeck system and when we received a quote, we were told they would remove the gutter of the underdeck to remove the posts. Well apparently the workers didn't get this memo because they chose to saw the top section of our posts off and then chisel the remaining wood away so they had enough room to install our new posts. Now, we have old wood and a few old bolts remaining that they could never remove. Throughout this entire process I could barely communicate with the workers as they spoke minimal English. Even when I went out to offer them a drink, they didn't understand what I was asking. The individual that washed our deck did a good job but when he sealed our deck, he had zero regard for our house or our neighbors house. He used a sprayer to seal our deck, which is not uncommon. That said, he used the sprayer EVERYWHERE! As a result, we have residual sealant marks on our siding, our neighbors siding and our patio pavers. This worker also spoke minimal English and also decided he was going to urinate on our common grounds opposed to asking to use our bathroom. Over the years of working with companies, this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. I feel as though I've been scammed. PLEASE don't waste your time with this company. More...

Deck Soldier did a phenomenal job I can't thank you enough. I recently had a deck built at my home with Trex and the process was very interesting to say the least. . they created my design with some sort of application so I could see it in 3D and once I picked my very own design the work began. They got everything done in a timely manner and were in constant contact with me. Not to mention the price wasn't nearly as expensive as I thought it would be. I recently had my deck cleaned and sealed and I must say they did a wonderful job. It took them maybe 3-4 days to complete everything including a day of just letting everything dry. I am truly impressed, We would definitely recommend and use this company in the future. More...
