Craig was a fantastic tour guide. It turned out that we were the only ones for this particular tour. If I were the tour company, I would have canceled, but it says a lot about the company that they didn't. Craig was humorous and extremely knowledgeable about the LA area and told us quite a bit that we didn't know. The four hours flew by. I would highly recommend this tour as it covers quite a bit of ground. This was arguably the best thing we did when we were in LA for almost a week. One small piece of feedback would be that when you send the pictures of all the sights, I would recommend putting all of the email addresses in the BCC line so they stay hidden from other guests. took the tour with craig aldrich as driver tourguide comedian he was totally enjoyable and e ceptionally knowledgeable during the tour. li ing in california since 1980 and having taken friends and family on nimerous other tours. it was refreshing to get an honest tour where your were not told untrue stories. craig was a refreshing change and i highly recommend him to anyone who wants a true tour of our city. We booked this tour last minute based on reviews, and it didn't disappoint! Mark was incredibly knowledgeable about Los Angeles and presented the city in a fun and unique way. He incorporated a little something for everyone and made the 4 hours fly by. I'd highly recommend this tour ahead of the typical Hollywood "gate and bushes tour". This was an amazing tour! We were able to see more of LA/Hollywood/Beverly Hills area than we ever would on our own. Mark even knew the perfect spot to get a picture with the Hollywood sign behind us. It was very entertaining and we learned so much during the drive. There was a screen in the van that showed pictures of things we drove by such as the celebrity houses. The tour was 4 hours with a stop on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Mark led us on the tour around LA and Beverly Hills, and it was safe to say that both my parents and I had such a great time, and enjoyed every minute. Mark has great knowledge on the city, and showed us some cool spots! The dad jokes and great humour were the cherry on top. Mark Morrow was our tour director-I believe he also booked our tour.  My daughter and I are very glad we took this one.  He picked us up at the Farmer's Market on Beverly and we covered a lot of ground in the Mercedes Sprinter van.  A full 4 hours of info and expertise, celebrity homes etc.  He also shared some pictures from the tour and took ours with the Hollywood sign. Excellent, comfortable, fun tour of LA, Hollywood and beyond!Tour guide was Craig Aldrich.  Great guy and a wonderful tour guide.  He gave us lots of info, fun facts, was quite knowledgeable...  and very entertaining!  This 4-hour tour went very fast.  Lots to see and discover; there was a 30-minute break at Grauman's Chinese Theatre to get out, stretch your legs and see the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Saw many celebrity homes, awesome views, etc.  This is a great tour if you're a local or a tourist.  Check out their website.  Highly recommend! This was a total blast! The hubs and I really enjoyed Mark's tour and would recommend him to anyone. He was funny and a wealth of knowledge. The van we were driven around in was classy and we appreciated having music and movie history covered in the tour. The stop at the Chinese theater and along the walk of fame was about 30 minutes which at the time didn't seem long enough but in retrospect was perfect with the crowds. We were the only couple that had been picked up at the downtown location and Mark dropped us off in Little Tokyo at the end of the tour which was much appreciated. Overall a really great experience. Mark was awesome and his tour was on point and not too long. A lot of the tour guys lie to you regarding celebrity houses etc. but he knew his stuff - everything from architecture to when it was built and who owned it. Definitely recommend. Took the tour after reading the great reviews and seeing it was an Air conditioned bus. Let me say this tour was beyond five stars. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed it. So many sights are seen in only four hours. Stars homes, historical places, the LA standards, and a bathroom break on Hollywood Blvd. halfway through. This is my very first Yelp review and I'm only doing it because I had such an amazing time and I'd like to share it so that others will be encouraged to experience this.  I absolutely LOVED this tour!  We were only in LA for that day so I'd probably do it again whenever I go back and I'm sure I'd enjoy just as much. There's no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't have been able to drive around in traffic and see as much as we did in 1 day! We live in Orange County and had our daughter and son-in- law visiting from Chicago. They wanted the Hollywood experience and we really hadn't done that before, so  we did some research and decided to try Legends of Hollywood tour, I am so happy with our decision! Mark gave us the tour which was both enjoyable and informative. Mark made it worth the experience, we never felt rushed and he kept us interested. It was great to be picked up at the Farmers Market because not only was it easy to park,but after the tour we had a plethora of eating and shopping options!!! This tour is so worth it! Beats starline and probably many of the other tours. Air conditioned and comfy! Mark is a fantastic wealth of knowledge and gives you an amazing sense of what it was like during historical times. His aerial view shots of celebrity homes are so cool. My favorite part of the tour was seeing Beverly Park and realizing how vast and amazing the heavy hitter stars live!!! We went through neighborhoods I had never heard of before and saw movie spots, celebrity homes, and more. Not to be missed! Mark is great - very entertaining. He's a great driver and guide. His Mercedes van so clean and comfortable. Also, having the big screen tv there and narrations by him are a plus. The tour is good if you want to see where many of the Hollywood stars live. He has lots of info. However, we were a bit disappointed as our girls did not get to see any crime/tragedy areas. Although Mark advertises this, we were not shown any. We all just felt it was a lot of time driving up into hills more than anything else. Not sure if we were too high in our expectations? In addition, we were only allowed 3 times out of the ride. One was the walk of fame - a 30 minute stop, on Mulholland Scenic Overlook, and the Hollywood sign picture opportunity. That's it, but perhaps there isn't time for more as this tour is only 4 hours. Pick up and drop off was at the Farmers Market. So, all in all, we had fun but thought there was more emphasis on specific things rather than what was exactly advertised. I would still rather do this personalized tour for 13 than a big bus and his prices were reasonable.But Mark is seriously awesome and his accommodations are top notch! More...

I just completed a 4 hour private tour with Mark and understand why Legends of Hollywood is rated 5 stars overall on Yelp. I haven't taken any other tours of LA, but I anticipate that what I liked about Mark's tour likely separates him from the rest.The most obvious difference is that booking through Legends of Hollywood is that your driven around in a 13 seat Mercedes Benz sprinter which is roomy and enclosed. Unlike the many "sawed off" roof, open air vans you see playing around Hollywood.The next thing that I expect separated Mark from the pack is the use of a multimedia presentation that adds music, film clips, and aerial shots of the homes you'll be visiting. Mark's charisma and energy pluses up the content on the screen as he live narrated the environment around you.The four hour tour goes beyond pointing out celebrity houses. BOOK THIS TOUR!! We ended up choosing it based on the rave reviews and our guide Mark did not disappoint. The media presentation was fun and interactive and really helped to enhance the experience while we visited landmarks, scenes from  tv and movies, and celebrity homes throughout the city. Mark was an excellent tour guide who kept us very entertained and well-informed the whole time. His extensive knowledge about LA was really impressive - he's a true professional. It was fascinating to learn the histories behind various places in Hollywood and how iconic they are. Zum einen aus einer Stadtrundfahrt durch LA und zum anderen aus einer Tour entlang der Villen der Stars und Sternchen. Die Tour durch LA hat uns sehr gefallen, sie war sehr informativ und interessant!Die "Villen-Tour" fanden wir nicht so toll. Vor allem da auch viele amerikanische TV Stars gezeigt wurden, die uns nicht bekannt waren. Aber dennoch gehört eine solche Tour für eine Rundfahrt durch LA dazu. Unreal.  We did a private tour (up to 13 people, I brought 5) Beyond expectations, an interactive media presentation during the tour, Mark was the best at his job and loves doing what he does-- which is put on tours that are fun, informative, funny (plenty of puns), historically fascinating and plenty Laugh Factory celebrity homes, filming locations and Los Angeles landmarks. He knew anything and everything about Hollywood and Los Angeles in general.  It was impressive, and well worth it.  I can't recommend it enough.  Again, WORTH IT, SO FUN & INFORMATIVE.Don't eat rotten fruit or trash before ou get on the bus tho because you'll get sea sick!  Especially if you wash it down with ocean water!  VERY sea sick.
