We needed an estate plan and called around to several attorneys in the area. Andrew was responsive and gave me an estimate over the phone without having to attend any mandatory seminars as other attorneys required. He worked with our schedule including an after hours meeting at his office and even coming to our home. We paid what he quoted. No surprises. In March of 2014 due to my position of 9+ years being eliminated because of budget cuts, I found my self in financial trouble, unable to pay the credit cards and medical bills I'd fully intended to pay had my employment continued. Unable to find a job at the age of 66, I contacted the Office of Andrew Kern. I found Andrew to be knowledgeable, kind, and helpful, suggesting that instead of losing my house by filing for complete bankruptcy, that I file a Chapter 7 bankruptcy which would allow me to keep my home and my car. Never once did I feel shamed or blamed by Andrew. He told me that in this economy, many people were finding it difficult to manage financially. Also. his fees were right in line with other attorneys in this area.The process itself was relatively painless, due in large to the smooth handling by Andrew.
