Farrah was so great for my prenatal massage. She checked in with me plenty and worked out all my soreness. I was sad because I fell asleep for part of it! Sleep is a waste of the good feels! Haha Note to management though: the front door really doesn't need an obnoxious beep beep on it. And if you're that concerned about clients waiting at the front, there's about a billion devices you can use to forego that obnoxious sound I heard constantly for an hour on a busy Saturday afternoon. Went here for a couples massage, I had a women named Farah and my partner had a different gentlemen who specialized in deep tissue. They both tailored to our needs and painful points. Pretty darn stoked about finding this place! I had an amazing massage by Luna who listened to everything I was having issues with. The atmosphere was so calming and I couldn’t have been more relaxed at the end! The staff was so caring and so dedicated to their job which seemed more like a passion. Highly recommend coming here. Mark saved my life.Okay, maybe that's extreme. But he saved my quality of life, and isn't that just as good as life itself? I like to think so.I'm not sure what I did to cause my shoulders to tense up so badly that they felt like tiny versions of the Predator had taken up residence in my muscles, but I was in severe pain. I was miserable. I couldn't sleep for a week, I was near tears, and I even almost went to the ER. Luckily my sister in law and brother had an account at La Vida with some free massages. My sister in law offered to gift me one and I gratefully accepted. I scheduled an appointment with Mark, and he was my personal Jesus. Seriously. I told him how much pain I was in, and he asked if I wanted a full body massage and I asked him to focus on my shoulders, neck, and upper back. Freaking loved everything about this place. I bought a membership without a second thought. Great, relaxing atmosphere. Nice chocolate, mints, beer, wine, eye masks available for the appointment. Every touch (no pun intended) was well thought. My misuse, Luna, was professional and performed one of the best messages I've had. The only thing that wasn't perfect for me was the bed, I didn't seem to fit well in the face part. I've never have that problem before on tables but it won't keep me from coming back. Lovely place. Steven at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. The aroma of LaVida is delicious. I took my sister and I for a relaxation couple massage. My sister had Corey and I had Martha do my massage. The ambience of the room was superb with lovely soft relaxing music. Very peaceful experience. My sister enjoyed her massage from Corey and felt very relaxed after. Martha did an awesome job. I felt amazing after and so relaxed. The aromatherapy and hot stone add on is a must. First time coming here with my husband. We got a couple massage, and it was very relaxing. Prices are fair, not too high, and they do offer a great monthly deal. Rooms seemed very clean and peaceful. What matters is the inside. The spa is lovely, the staff awesome and professional, their techniques and flow are relaxing and/or relieving, even the tea choices and little pieces of candy are yummy. The membership is worth it.

Like any massage place there are good therapist and incompetent ones. Fortunately Lavida has some spectacular therapist. Always clean, the front desk staff is generally polite and helpful, and if you are wise enough to ask for an experienced therapist you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend both Luna and Venus - odd that they named after celestial bodies but they're both warm, kind, and very very good at what they do. It's a little on the pricey side unless you do the monthly membership but as usual you get what you pay for. More...

Monique is an incredibly beautiful soul who was sympathetic to a problem I had regarding a gift certificate I received to the establishment.  I was blown away by her kindness and service she extended me.  I can't begin to describe the level of gratitude I have for her as well as Terrance who provided the actual massage.  I felt great the next day.  I also appreciate the stretching tips he provided to help my lower back pain.  Pending more income on my end, I would love to come back to this place to support such a fine establishment, and I certainly will recommend you to anyone I know of that needs a massage!  THANK YOU SO MUCH MONIQUE!  YOU MADE MY MONTH!Much love and gratitude to you More...

I love this place! I've been there 3x since my hubby surprised me with a membership. Very reasonable prices and they really customized each session to my needs every time. The owner is a veteran, Monique. She has a great personality and loves interacting with the clients at the front desk feeling very welcomed. I LOVE how she added her personal touch to each massage room themed after places she's been stationed at when she served in the Navy. You can definitely tell she loves what she does in her business. I schedule a therapeutic massage for my 86 year old Mother, regularly and I was looking for a new place where she would feel comfortable, have easy access and affordability.  I checked out La Vida, tucked away in a strip mall on South Nevada.  The owner, Monique Walker was there, as well as her manager, Erin.  They graciously gave me a tour and answered all of my questions.  I went ahead and made an appointment for myself and my Mom.  It was easy to park and get my Mom into the salon.  We were immediately greeted and escorted to a comfortable waiting area for just a few minutes before our massages.  Each of the rooms are beautifully appointed and reflect places Monique has traveled.  The scented linen was heated and the massage was excellent!  My mom was also very happy and so that settled it-I signed up for their membership program which includes 1 massage at a reasonable price per month and unlimited massages for $49.00 each.  If the first massage is not used that month, it rolls over to the next month.  there was also not a time commitment for the membership so I didn't feel like I might get trapped in a contract situation.  So far, my mom has been back several times.  At one point the staff called to make sure that my mom would not have an issue with a male massage therapist.  They explained that Art has great therapeutic technique and it turns out he does!  My mom loved him and wants to request Art for her appointments although we have both been happy with all of the different massage therapists we have experienced at La Vida.  When I find something that makes my mom happy and improves her quality of life, and mine, I latch on to it!!!!  Our membership at La Vida is certainly our best investment this year!
