Lauren is one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever met! She was so valuable throughout our entire wedding planning process, but especially on our wedding day. She was so helpful and was able to help direct everyone and keep things moving, so we were able to get the gorgeous sunset shots that I wanted so badly! I also love how amazing Lauren was with my dogs! They’re like our babies and were a must have in the engagement and wedding pictures. Lauren worked great with them and has this hilarious little trick to get them to look at the camera. You guys. You HAVE to get Lauren to document your special occasion for you! She has now documented a newborn/family session as well as a 1 year old/family session for me.
Her patience with little kids is amazing & she actually HELPS get the kids to cooperate so [picky mamas like me] can get the perfect picture. An added bonus, her turn around time is so fast & she is so VERY fair in her pricing. I also love that she gives all the digital images, because we all know how busy life can be & you can order at your leisure! She does have great suggestions on where to order from as well �

This was my first experience with Lauren and it was AMAZING from beginning to end. She was prompt with answering my many questions about the mini shoot and I loved the emails beforehand reminding me of the shoot, where to be, tips on what to wear, and asking if there is anything specific she should know about the family, ages, names, and specific photos I was looking for.
The actual day of was perfect. Lauren is warm, friendly, and made a photo shoot with two kids under 5 painless. I was impressed to get a same day proof and loved that Lauren gave little sneak peeks until they were all edited and ready to go. Turnaround time was quicker than expected too.
I will definitely contact Lauren for future photo shoots!

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Capturing connections is key to a great photograph. Yes, the photo needs to captured accurately, but what takes a photo from good to incredible is the connection between the people in the photo. That connection should make the viewer feel something.

What inspired you to start your own business?
My son. He is a transplant recipient and his start to life was rocky, to say the least. I became obsessed with capturing every second of his life. All of his faces and details. I soon learned that every mom wants those details, whether her child is 2 or 20, sick or healthy. Time is a thief and our kids grow up too quickly, so I love that I can freeze moments and milestones in time for other mommas. :)

I am passionate about my craft and my business. I pride myself on my work ethic. I am a registered business and not just a hobbyist. I LOVE what I do! :)
