Laura is absolutely amazing! We contacted her originally to do our maternity pictures and she most recently did our newborn session. From the moment we met her we felt at ease. She is extremely patient and talented!! In our newborn session, our little guy was quite a handful and she was not only understanding but you can't even tell by the photos that our little one was having a rough afternoon! There are not enough wonderful words to express how fantastic our session with Laura was. She met with me in advance with ideas and welcomed any input I had. On the day of the shoot, she was prepared with an array of possible poses and was completely open to suggestions I had, as well. Laura's kind, gentle nature put my daughter right at ease and brought out the best in her. My photographs are by far one of my most prized possessions now. I can't possibly say enough wonderful things about Laura! She was so professional yet personable and easy to talk to and relay our ideas for the photo shoot. She took the time to meet with me before hand to discuss what we wanted out of the shoot. I warned her that my son was very shy and when she arrived she took the time to talk to him and get to know him a little. By the end he was running around laughing with her. She was very understanding when we needed to take breaks for the kids. She even brought along a print out of sample images I had shown her so we were sure not to miss any 'favorite' photos. I can honestly say we love every single photo and that's no easy task with a 2 year old and 6 month old! I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Laura. I've never been big into getting professional photography done. We skipped engagement photos and newborn photos, but as my baby girl approached her first birthday, I decided it was time. Through Facebook and word of mouth, I got lots of recommendations. I checked samples of everyone's work and there was just something missing. Everyone could take a picture of a baby, but the family photos were always missing authenticity. Just when I was about to give up, I saw Laura's work on my feed... and the lightbulb went off. The session was short and casual. So casual in fact, that we kind of left wondering what shots we got...but the results were amazing. That's the beauty of what she does. She captures you so naturally that you hardly even know it's happening. She got so many of my daughters funny expressions and really captured the playfulness that we have as a family. That's what I wanted... the essence of our little family to show through in the photos... and that's exactly what Laura delivered.

Laura has such an amazing talent for capturing moments and feelings which was exactly what I wanted for my maternity pictures. For me it’s not only the formal photos that remind you how special a moment was – it’s the natural fun and excitement that is so important to be documented, and Laura did just that. I can’t choose one picture as my favorite because they are all so good! What I love the most is the focus on details and the candid shots! She was very responsive to all the emails and messages I sent, and even helped us with outfits. Taking pictures with her was so easy and fun – that was our first photo session ever.
