I love this place! The food is delicious!
Great atmosphere. French cafe. Bustling with locals.
I was craving their croissants so I decided to make a quick stop. They're temporarily closed for renovation!
I miss the old Noe Valley Pizza but la boulangerie is a nice replacement
Great food! Peaceful music and lovely service
Nice atmosphere / ambience. Pretty decent food. I liked it.
Great corn chowder soup and a turkey sandwich on Baguette
The best bakery in town
Always just ok. Although, the cheese danish is amazing!
LuLaRoe Veronica Arena
Awesome sandwiches and pastries. A cool bakery. We always come here.
Well prepared ,tasty food and good coffee. It gets busy in here though and the seats fill up fast.
Best croissants ever! Great hot chocolate as well.
I love to come here for breakfast. Food is delicious, good coffee. Staff is professional and polite. I like their little condiment stand. I always take a little bit more than I should, lol. More...
Love this place. Great bread and pastry selection and great coffee.
Fresh & Delicious. Clean dining room. Get some tasty breakfast here and enjoy the idyllic surroundings of Hayes Valley.
I was sad when the Last Boulangerie near my house closed down. It's a rare opportunity for me to get my fix, buy when I'm in the area I have to visit. The Hazelnut Chocolate Croissants are heavenly and there are a free different savory croissants that will surprise you. They make their pastries with lots butter and and you can taste the difference in the quality. The manager on staff this morning was attentive, anticipated what his customers needed and the rest of the staff was cheerful and attentive as well. Great little spot. The 5th will appear when I come back to electrical jacks in the wall so I can post up with my laptop. It's 2019 guys, come on. ;) More...
Everything we got tasted like heaven!
Good coffee and sweet pastries. What's not to like when you can have a bowl of cappuccino?
The wheat croissant has an additional nutty sweet taste. Quite good! And cheaper by far to most other bakeries.
Best breakfast in town. Incredible Croissants, wonderful coffee, very nice service. Great to sit there in the morning. Goods sandwiches during the day as well.
Wow so happy to have this little gem back in the hood.
Sad that Starbucks could not keep the food up
Only place with whole wheat croissants ... yummy
This is by far the best French bakery in the Bay area. Authentically French and won't disappoint. The prices are fair and if it matters, they did list out where they source all their ingredients. It's not too far from the civic centre attractions and worth the trek if you're in the area. More...
A cute little French bakery with friendly staff.
I had the butter croissant with strawberry jam and caramel latte coffee.
Both were absolutely delicious.
I would love to go back to this place. More...
Strong selection. Bread pudding is the best outside of the UK. I appreciate that this is authentic French baking and pastry. This bakery never over uses sugar. Always flaky, buttery, whole cream, fresh fruits. Strong lunch options with daily baked breads, rolls, sheu pastry. More...
Delish chocolate croissants, flaky and just right ratio of chocolate to pastry dough. Very good decaf cappuccinos and other espresso coffees available. Some seats and tables inside to enjoy your pastries and beverages. Friendly and helpful staff. More...
Great place to hang out and slip a cup of coffee. I love their almond croissant, it a must try.
4 ⭐ mid-range cafe. Better than average on most fronts (coffee, breakfast/lunch, baked goods).. but a shadow of what it used to be (neglected fittings, bathroom, service, food, crockery). An MBA got hold of someone's passion? More...
quick service! Natural, yummy juices! Three pastry life is happening!!
What's happening to La Boulangerie? It used to be my favorite cafe anywhere. I don't know about other locations in other towns, but this first Sutter St. on downtown closed a couple of years ago, and now this Noe St. location looks as it won't last for much longer either. The place looks stripped of all the charm and warmth it used to have. Abundant in the past, display of delicious pastries of now looks scarce. No more seductive, vibrant with fruit, tartines. All I see are basically mini baguettes. I came here today specifically for smoked salmon brioche sandwich. They are out of smoked salmon! Coffee is served in paper cups, although I am eating in. Where did those amusing coffee bowl go? Tuna melt and I are both sad. More...
This place and its founder really does have its act together and they are pricing really simple high quality food products and great coffee. WELL worth the visit
The coffee is served in bowls. I had to carry the hot bowl of coffee to the table myself. They gave me a plate to carry it. I had to make another trip to carry the quiche to my table. The food and coffee were good. More...
Friendly, great food, could do better job of cleaning tables and wiping them down...was there for some time didn't see much cleanup.
It's not as good as the real thing (strangely nowhere outside France is, must be different flour or water or something) but very good, especially for breakfast. Friendly staff, busy without being packed. Watch out of it is rammed because occasionally the service can be pretty terrible with long long wait for drinks that end up arriving well after you finished any food. Mostly though it's great :) More...
Real croissants, real cappuccinos and friendly service. Wonderful!
Beautiful little French joint. Serves coffee in a giant bowl, just like in France. A real gem. Baby friendly.
This little hole in the wall was amazing!! I loved every sip of coffee and bites of pastries.
My favorite spot in Noe Valley. Fantastic coffee, lovely outdoor seating, never a wait for a table, plus you can order brunch food at the counter and eat it in a sane amount of time, unlike every brunch spot in SF.
So glad they're back! Order a bowl of cappuccino. Excellent.
Reopened after the founder sold the original bakery to Starbucks. The bakery has been renamed, but the food is just as good. Try the cheese danish!
Nice place, got some nice small sandwich, but pretty pricy
I come here at least once a week. Delicious pastries and everyone is very friendly!
Food is great. The people working there are very hospitable.
Very good place to meet people for coffee (although there is no wifi). Good chicken over greens
