First time coming to KTV located on 808 Sheridan street across from Walmart Keeaumoku by Ala Moana. It was a Saturday night, pretty busy. My friend told me it was difficult to book there because the rooms fill up fast. They're pretty strict about timing as well, we arrived 30 mins late but luckily they didn't give our room away. A lot of other Karaoke bars have old songs.. I like KTV because their Karaoke machine has new songs. The rooms are priced hourly so that means it's unlimited amount of songs you can sing.Food from KTV is great. My favorite pupu style dish was the Calamari. The fries & chicken wings were nice and crispy. I would definitely return here just for the food to be honest lol. Bartenders were nice and fast at making drinks. The only thing is that, it was only 11pm and they were already out of redbull. which sucked because the only thing we were ordering were Vegas Bombs.Our karaoke room was decent. The room was really, really hot. The AC barely blew cold air. Each time the girl server came in, she always left the door wide open.. which I thought was inconsiderate. The karaoke room is so nice and clean . Happy hours $30 / hour and get one hour free. Their sounds system are wonderful ! First and foremost, the staff was extremely accommodating. I was stressed out about celebrating my birthday with location, time, and pricing of thw room. However, when I called to inquire and make reservations, a male worker (sorry didn't catch his name but I wish I did!) helped me out a lot and gave me a pretty good deal. I booked a large room and was excited for Friday. Unfortunately, half of my party cancelled last minute, and I was stressed again because we had the large room, the people who were supposed to come were supposed to help chip in on the cost. When I got there, the same guy was working and reconfirmed the number of people in my party. When I explained that there will be half of us now and that when I called the night before to see if they had a smaller room, the worker (also nice female) said they didn't have any available, only a medium room. He helped me out AGAIN. Honestly, I was stressing out and sad over the whole situation, but he totally made my night. He was super nice, chill, showed me how everything in the room works (since it was 3 years since I was last there). Working in customer service places, myself, I can say that the attitude of the workers really help to set the ambience. Also, as a manager, I can tell when a worker goes above and beyond for his customers. In terms of the location and rooms itself, everything was kept clean and organized. For those who have never been there, it is on the second floor, and you would have to walk down this hallway like thing. There are no signs, but there is a big fancy door that you see right away. I had a medium room, which says the max capacity is 13, but the female that I talked to the night before said it fits 10 comfortably. (And she was right). The song selections (at least the English songs) are kind of limited, but they have all the great songs that people love to sing at karaoke places. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my experience coming here to celebrate my birthday. Anyone who is looking to have a good time with amazing staff members should definitely make a reservation. The best thing is that after 11pm, you could go downstairs to the Hot Pot place and get 10% of your order. (I didn't get to use it, but I eat there all the time and the food is great). Aloha everyone I got to throw a surprise birthday for my bestfriend here super last minute on a Sunday and it was extremely successful but most of all FUNNN! Our bartender/server/everything was AMAZING . Cedric was his name and he made us feel so comfortable and welcoming he took care of all of our needs all night he also upgraded our room last minute which made the party 10x better I highly recommend the large room for any size party because the more room the better. Tonight, I got into an altercation and the worker, I'm sorry I didn't get your name but he has a mustache, just gave the best hospitality after it happened. I was expecting him to kick me out and instead, offered a drink to me and I just wanna write a review and say I can never forget that. I came here once for a yelp event. The second time here was for my friend's birthday party. On a weekend night, it was crowded and noisy. We were in the ocean room. We were able to decorate it. The room looked like we were at the beach. The place was clean and nice. Television was big. There were many options for songs from Asian music to American music. This will be my go-to karaoke place!! Friends and I went here last night to have some fun and we definitely did. The rooms are huge! Even for a small room and the 5 of us had enough space to dance and sing. And the rooms are SUPER nice! Too bad I don't have pictures but the ambience is spot on. $55 for 1 hour and we thought we were only going to stay for an hour but ended up coughing up another $55. The song selection is great, ranges from 2000s hits to rock oldies, MJ, etc. One of the bartenders set us up and showed us how to use it. Unlike other karaoke places, the song system was incredibly easy to use although it was in Chinese. Only downside is the price but I do think you get a bang for your buck. All the bartenders were awesome and made the drinks I asked for to my liking. Drinks are allowed in the room if everyone's 21 (I was the only 21 year old so I had to drink at the bar). came last night for my friend's bday and my G the rooms especially the microphone are so amazing. They have a valet parking with a flat rate of five dollars but after 11 PM the valet person will look for you to give you your keys and they will just park your car on the side (it's still safe in my opinion) anyway you can't bring food or else they will charge you half of the room and yes the rooms are pretty expensive here . they have tons of songs to choose from....I cannot emphasize how much the speaker here are so good, the rooms are also big and well kept. Awesome night! We went for the karaoke competions that they have thursdays but.....this night they had a special function going on and wasnt holding it. So they and krystilez hooked up whoever came down for the competition with a free room. So my husband and I had a small room ALL to ourselves. Each room had a different theme to it. We had rm 8 that seemed like a safari theme going on. It was such a pretty room and it had 2 mics and a computer you can put your song choices in. Their song selections arent THAT huge but it didnt matter to us. They have pupys and drinks you can order from your room as well. We had the steak, fries and calamari that was all really yummy. We stayed for about 1hr and a half then we left. But we talked with cedric and left our info with him for the competition. Him and the staff ( sorry I didnt catch 2 girls name) were very nice. Especially the girl that was our server. We asked about pricing and I was actually surprised by the prices. They seemed pretty decent considering how upscale it looks in there. by far the best experience i've ever had. we got upgraded to a bigger room for no additional cost. the manager was also our bartender and he was the sweetest! ! unfortunately, i do not know his name. but thanks to him, my friends and i will most def make this a karaoke go to spot for events we got the asian themed room, which i believe is the large room. it was more than enough to accommodate 14 people. i imagine the medium rooms being just as comfortable. the only thing con would be the karaoke machine. it was a bit difficult finding songs because the way it's set up, we can't just type the name of the song that we'd want to sing. we'd either have to put the first letter of each word of the song, or find the artist and find them through there.friends very much liked the drinks, very strong so no complaints there. I think the only thing I would want to improve on is changing the number that's been provided on google. Feels like the person in charge of that number doesn't know what he's doing or talking about which made it very frustrating for me especially it being my first time booking with you guys. Sometimes the person wouldn't answer, or I'll leave messages sometimes no call backs, and just sounds unknowledgeable. So I just suggest fixing the number on google to the number you guys have on here (Yelp). Other than that the room was BEAUTIFUL! The room I had was the deluxe room which was big enough for more than 25 people. The staff was really helpful and friendly that night for that it was really busy and apparently they were short staffed.
