One fine neighborhood bakery with plenty of items to choose from. The cheddar dill scone is small yet fragrant and flavorful; the raspberry polenta muffin has a soft crumb but delocately crispy caramelized crunch. Sit outside over a cup of coffee, and enjoy the morning sun!! More...

Great baked items. The Nutella croissant is pretty good! It would be a “5” but the prices are pretty high for what you get...

Wonderful breakfast with outside dining. We ordered a birthday cake that was both beautiful and tasty. As good as any of the bakeries in my home town, Portland. OR!

First time here. Kinda stumbled across it. I'm glad I did! I got a cheddar/dill scone, pecan sandies and some fresh squeezed blood orange and tangerine juice.
The cookies were great! Only thing that could add to them would be to add some pecan chunks or pieces to give them 2 textures!
The scone was bursting with flavor and had a good texture. The juice was sweet, with some tartness. Yummy!
The line between really good food and artisan food, can be thin and blurry. I gave only four stars because I rated the prices as artisan but the food as very good/artisan like or artisan-ish, hence close but no cigar!
Mind you, this was my first visit. Next time I'll try their butter cake, maybe their flat bread and give them 5 !

We went for diner here, and they were testing out pizza options. We had a bacon, date, and nectarine pizza which was ridiculously good.
The crust was sublime, thin and crispy, but with a good chewy tooth.
We sat outside in their cute little seating area. The staff was very friendly, and fun to talk to. This was a great casual date night dinner in walking distance from our hotel. Very glad we found it.

It's not often that you have something that is truly, "the best ever!" Knead truly made the best turkey sandwich I have ever had. The staff was so curtious and helpful even to rude customers I witnessed. This is a must stop for anyone passing through or a regular eatery for locals. More...

I love this place! They have great desserts! They are the only place in town that you can get a great birthday cake, wedding cake, cupcakes and amazing tarts. I've referred tons of brides to them for wedding cakes and they are gorgeous! I bought tarts for birthday party's, and they are alway's beautifully done. You get what you pay for. This is a family of true artisan's that take tremendous pride in their work and only source the best ingredients. More...

Do me a kindness. If you wake up on a park bench in Ojai's quaint plaza one morning and you find that A.) you're hungry and B. ) you've got $7.25 to spare: go ahead and swallow down one of Knead's breakfast sandwiches with white Vermont cheddar. Heck, quaff a cup of joe while you're at it. Other niceties: Nice owner, great outdoor seating and, yeah, great tasting baked goods. More...

Oh, sweet baby baked goods! I mean, seriously. I hate them because they're so freaking good and I can't get them every single day. Do yourself a solid, get the almond croissant -- it's ridiculously good.Though, everything at Knead is amazing. *sighs* And now I want to go there, but it's too far for me to travel.Still. Amazing. I mentioned that, right? More...
