We hired Collis to re-roof our 15 year old house. It was an awesome experience from my first contact with them to the completion of the job. They stay in contact with you from beginning to end to make sure you are comfortable with the process and all your questions are answered. The work was started and finished on time with workers who were always on task and made sure my property was covered and protected with drop cloths and sheets. Clean up was quick and efficient. They went through my yard numerous times with a magnet stick to get any stray nails. The price was fair and there were no surprises when the work was completed. I must admit that it is hard to believe that people can work in the sun for 11 hours strait without Passing out or have a stroke. At this point we are very happy with the materials and workmanship The presentation of what was going to take place was very good, and the schedule was great for us.Sales was done well done, had plenty of help matching the tile colors, and selecting the right tiles for us, Never felt like we were being given a lot of Pie in the Sky info, very professional, but sometimes a little hard to reach thru texting and phone. Clearly a Company man wanting todo a good job.The Supervisor: Spent sufficient time on the Site to get the job done well, and on schedule, easy to communicate with, "Nice Guy" But when the Shingles showed up and the workers were on a much needed break, he would not ask them for help, he got up there with one other guy and unloaded the whole crane/truck, I thought that was outstanding, putting your workers before yourself. I have a really intricate roof and they figured out how to make it work best. I needed a lot of prep and waterproofing and they were the ONLY company in the area who could do the job. 2nd time using Collis Roofing one for myself and 4 months later for my mother, and they were superb. Joey was my contractor and does an unbelievable job getting the right color to permits to completion. Joey made sure materials were delivered and job was over seeing. Never had a problem, he took care of my mothers gutters and now the interior of my bathroom from the roof leak. They can cover everything from roof and if there is any damages they can repair it. My mother had rotten wood on her chimney and they replaced it. Excellent service and highly recommend Collis Roofing, now I'll tell you they were the most expensive but well worth it, Joey on the initial visit stated they put down a membrane instead of regular tar paper like most roofers. This membrane will seal much better than your conventional tar paper. And just the overall material and craftsman ship super-seeds other roofers. Lance from Collis roofing came out and located several areas in my 13 year old shingle roof that had leaks. I had always thought the leaks were because the builder used a cheap off-ridge vent system that would have cost a lot more to repair. But I was very pleased to hear the honesty from Lance that some nails came loose from weakened shingles and the repairs were cheaper. Lance went ABOVE and BEYOND explaining everything as he made his repairs and in the extra high quality under lament materials and techniques making a much longer lasting repair. I just want to give a shout out to these guys! We are in the middle of attempting to get the last few major projects done here at the house and hiring contractors has so far been a complete joke. Kudos - Collis showed up on time, gave us an estimate (far less than we expected) on the spot and the best part, they were honest. They told us we’ve got life left in our roof and the few lifting spots happen and can be repaired. They didn’t try to take our money claiming damage that doesn’t exist like other companies . Collis Roofing is an excellent company to deal with and I highly recommend them . From the sales person, customer service, and to the crew, everyone was very professional and courteous. I cannot say enough good things about the crew. They showed up on time, put in 11 hours a day, and completed the job within 2 days. All while the heat index was at 110 degrees. I would like to thank and recommend Collis Roofing for the outstanding service they provided us. From our estimator John Sinclair, the amazing crew that battled the 100 plus degree heat, down to the guy who picked up the dumpster insuring my drive way was left clean. Collis was our last estimate after just being ready with another roofing company. We took it as a blessing after contacting them. We were denied a roof after Irma when we most definitely needed one. After John inspected our roof he was the only one willing to go to bat for us to fight the insurance company that denied us almost 2 years ago! Mr. Eddie Coad Solded me on Collis Roofing right away. Mr. Eddie was the only one to seat down and really talk to me. He gave me a great price and help me choose the color. Contractor Mr. Jack Lanier walked me through what the guys was doing. I was really worried about how much wood was damage and needed to be replace. He was easy to talk too. My first contact was with a very friendly Chelsea who dispatched someone to take a look at the roof for a leak discovered after the recent rainfall. Lance, who is one of the managers, came at the appointed time and introduced himself. He made me feel comfortable and I can honestly say that my anxiousness dissipated as he explained what may have happened. He went up on the roof and was up there for only about 15 minutes. He came back to the door and said he found the problem and patched the area. He said he believed it was a nail popping out and protruding into the shingle and advised me to not fix the ceiling immediately so I could watch for any additional problems in that location.I cannot say enough that Lance was professional, friendly and just a really nice guy.
