Kerry is a natural with children! When she first photographed my family, my three girls were very young. With a rambuctious three year old and a baby that wouldn't sit still, I feared getting all of the girls to look at the same time may be impossible. Not with Kerry! Kerry is really good at getting smiles! She has a great disposition and is extremely patient with young children. She doesn't rush through your session and keeps everyone comfortable and happy (even Mom who is usually the one stressing, fixing hair, and tieing bows). She doesn't unnaturally pose your children and isn't afraid to take a chance with a candid. She gave me such a beautiful range of photos to pick from both heart touching candids and black and white options. Kerry is a truly amazing photographer. I loved all the pictures she took of my family and I especially with my first maternity photo shoot. I would give it more than five stars! She was also very patient with us, even we were running behind schedule because I was a tad late (forgot to bring my second set outfit and we got lost as well). We just had our engagement session with Kerry and it was so much fun! We had a Sunday picked out but due to rain we had to reschedule which was no problem. Kerry is an AWESOME photographer. Just had our maternity shoot with her & let me tell you. I felt SOOOO comfortable with her & she's so relatable ! ! I'm usually a socially awkward person but the fact that I could really be myself (including my husband) really made it so much better. Kerry is amazing. She has done all of our family photos since we have moved to DC. A couples shoot Downtown at the national mall, a maternity shoot, promotion ceremony at the National Archives, and family Christmas cards at a Christmas tree farm.
