I stopped in today to order a corsage and boutonniere for my daughter's prom, very last minute. The ladies were very sweet, helpful and accommodating. Being from out of state I didn't know which flower shop to choose. Kenny's was recommended by a friend of mine and I am so glad he did. The lady who helped me was so very nice. I am glad I trusted her to make up a bouquet of the freshest flowers with a dollar amount of what I wanted to spend. The flowers arrived for my friend today, as requested, and they were fresh, colorful, and beautiful and made her cry happy tears. The picture she sent looks like I got more than my money's worth. I used Kenny's Flowers for my wedding in Southern Maryland. They made my bouquets (bride and bridesmaids), floral hair piece, and provided bulk flowers for us to make our own mason jar table arrangements and to put on the arch. This team is really passionate about flowers. Some flowers we wanted in the bouquets were out of season and they had great suggestions for other flowers that would work instead. The prices were really great. The best part was that they were so supportive of us ordering flowers in bulk and making our own arrangements. No attitude- all smiles. The calendar reminder for my sister's birthday didn't pop up until the day it arrived. Late afternoon of October 7th while preparations were in full gear for our friend’s retirement ceremony early the next morning, my friend and l were told to get flowers. We were not from the area so we were getting very nervous. Luckily for us, we were informed that Kenny’s was only short distance from where the ceremony would be held. Three hours before closing we barged into the shop and spoke with Linda. Twenty minutes later and leaving Linda with a headache we made our decisions, placed our orders and was assured that we could pick up one hour before the event.The flowers arrived on time and WOW!!! Words cannot express how happy we were. The bouquets were beautifully arranged and Linda even loaned us a special container to take them so they wouldn’t get damaged. It was my Girlfriend and I's anniversary, and I decided last minute to surprise her by getting flowers delivered to her work. I was sweating the idea (as it was so last minute, and I was a a little strapped on money.) The guy working the phone asked me for my information and price range and what I wanted. Now we wait. I live in Chicago and my mother lives in the Lexington Park area. I have ordered her flowers the past few years from online flower companies and have not been very happy with the product and services. This year I decided to look up local florists in her area. I do not know much about flowers so did not really know what I wanted to order. I called Kenny's florists and told them the price I wanted to pay and told them my mother's favorite flower. They told me they had a great design they would use and could deliver the flowers in 4 days without an up charge for faster delivery. The wonderful women at Kenny's Florist are just so nice! My initial consultation for bridal flowers was so much fun, looking at their photographs of previous weddings gave me a good idea of the quality of their work. What really blew me away, though, was the final product. I got to the church and was given my bouquet literally ten seconds before walking down the aisle and I stopped short and gasped! I just loved it!!! It was more beautiful than I expected or envisioned. The cost of the product was more than reasonable, and the staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service! The flowers were exactly what I requested and expected. Although the staff was extremely busy preparing for a wedding during my initial contact with them, they were EXTREMELY patient and took all the time I needed to help me decided what I wanted. I would HIGHLY recommend using their service. Sue was great! She prepared the arrangements for me exactly the way I wanted them.
