I went in and was delighted to find it was the old Playground south! Saw Gregg Allman play there in the eighties.The Owner Alex is dedicated to bring this club into the number 1 spot in Sarasota. He has the Staff and plenty of parking and he is a great guy.Tonite show will be epic. More...

I had the best night at Kellys Live/Sarasota Sky last Friday!! The sense of community and camaraderie was off the richter! Kelly knows how to throw a party!! Chronologic harmonies were hypnotizing! All Hail the Queen was on point!! And The Dood finished the night with a pounding tight set of songs accompanied by video and live performance artists on stage and eventually the crowd joining them on stage!! This place has a great atmosphere- great music and a good variety of music as well- bartenders are top notch and I can honestly say it is my favorite nightclub in Sarasota

Great place to play as an entertainer, great place to go as a guest. I went there for the first time yesterday, and it was pleasantly surprising for multiple reasons. No smoking (i smoke, but no one should do that inside), clean atmosphere, really awesome staff - from the bouncer, the bartenders, and the promoter, I was definitely impressed with my experience overall. Great place with great music! Wonderful service I love how the place is set up with a upstairs area that you can still see the band from and plenty of room to see them down stairs too I help support and lot of music help street team promote for some bands and I see a lot of venues I definitely recommend this spot is clean , good service and has a great vibe with awesome music !
