I really enjoyed the meal here. Â It's on Fulton st, so there are a lot of restaurants in the surrounding area, making it a fun place to walk around before or after your meal. Â We came on a Wednesday night and had no wait. Â We ordered the palak chat to start which was really really good. For the entrees, my two friends and I got the traditional goat curry, the chicken fenugreek, and the Indian eggplant in salan sauce with naan and rice on the side. Â The goat curry was my favorite; the goat was super tender and I liked the medium spicy. Â If you can only do a little spice, go for the mild. I liked the sauce on the eggplant, but eggplant is never really my favorite. More...

Loooved it! Spices and food were all very fresh. Stopped by after visiting the Legion of Honor. Did not know what to expect as we were the only ones there (it was early, maybe 5:00 on a Sunday). By the time we left the restaurant was packed. Go early to avoid the wait. I'm excited to go back. Delicious! More...

It was the best decision I made: I found this hidden gem, an Indian restaurant nearby. The restaurant is very small and hidden near the intersection. Street parking is easy but it could be hard during lunch. These are my choices:1) Lamb Vindaloo2) Classic Goat Curry3) Garlic Nan4) Mango Lassi I was very satisfied and certainly will come back. This place was so good! Went here with my sister when she was visiting, and we were so happy we stumbled upon it. It seems like the place is relatively new, but they have their stuff together no doubt. The staff was super friendly and the food was to die for. I would go out to say that this might be the best Indian food I have had in the Bay Area in years. At the end of the night, we asked for a to go box to save all the delicious food we couldn't finish, and our waitress was very sweet and put lots of care into making us "the perfect midnight snack". I never new to-go boxes could be done wrong, but now I have a new standard! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. More...

This is is on the small side. So you will sometimes find people waiting outside to get in. Do yourself a favor and join them. The food is well worth the wait. We stopped in for lunch. They do a really reasonable lunch box menu. They will also tailor the species to your tase. That is if you do not like hot or you want the heat they bring you what you crave. The Garlic Naan came hot with just a little bit of burned around the edges. It was absolutely delish. More...

Great staff, made good recommendations.Green curry was good, not the best that I've have but it was very good. Coconut chicken was very good. Great spice to it. Wasn't too hot but the spices that they used gave it a mouth tingly flavor. Spinach Paneer was ok, could've used a bit more cheese, and a tad more flavoring/spices to the spinach.. Naan, was above average. Onion and garlic. Donuts were good. My first time trying so I'm not sure what to compare it to. More...

Great food, great service. The food is flavorful and they have some more unique flavors and dishes than other traditional Indian restaurants. Love the chicken masala, the chicken wings, and the fried spinach. The garlic naan is very good too. BUT, I will say that I've been here on multiple occasions and I've found that some of my food is too burnt... in the chicken masala it's not uncommon to find burnt chicken, and the naan can be pretty burnt too. Kinda bummed about that but otherwise the foods good! More...

I can tell that the ingredients that go into Keeva's cuisine are high quality and homely. Food wasn't greasy at all, and flavorful. I also liked that our delivery order wasn't salty. We ordered chicken chettinad (not easy to find in SF!), onion naan, samosa, and chicken biryani. The Chettinad was flavorful but not spicy at all which is fine as it appeals to a wider audience. However, the meat was very fresh and tender and I felt as if a family member had made dinner for me. The onion naan was hard and disappointing. The samosa was good but I agree with other posters- the dough is super salty. The chicken biryani was homely as well but needed more flavor. Again, the meat was high quality. This hovers between a 3 and a 4, but a 4 means i would definitely visit in person or order again. I appreciate and love to support small businesses in SF, especially ones that use high quality ingredients. More...

The staffs were also very kind and helpful. We ordered 2 types of curry and 2 types of Nann.Chicken Tikka masala and the Butter Chicken with Regular Nann and Garlic Nann. I personally really enjoyed the dishes and I would highly recommend skipping the regular Nann for the Garlic Nann cuz garlic makes everything better. The Chicken Tikka Masala can be a but spicy for those that can't handle spicy well. I would come back if I craved Indian and is in the area. One of the few best Indian restaurants in the USA. I wished my stay in SFO was little longer to try out the entire menu, but the few days I visited SFO I enjoyed the food here thoroughly. Overall this was a good meal. I ordered the chicken tikka kebab, which came with a salad that I didn't try but looked good. The kebab was a bit deconstructed since we ordered delivery. Had delivery. Better food than most SF Indian - more expensive too. Liked the food with two exceptions: Palek paneer was fresh and tasty but arrived lukewarm. Just had a birthday lunch at Keeva. It was our first time there and I have to say this was, hands down, the best Indian food I have had in the Bay Area. We had the Palak Chat which consisted of fried spinach in chick pea flour. It's was crispy and coated with tamarind, mint, and another sauce. Sweet, spicy, salty and delicious. Also more than enough for two to share.Butter chicken was an ample portion and the sauce was intensely flavorful with unexpected hints of fenugreek giving it a licorice note to cut through the  creamy base.Palak Paneer was so green and packed with spices. It's was creamy but not reliant on the cream to make it delicious. Our sever was delightful and let us know that medium spice was still very spicy and it turned out to be the perfect level...as we do actually like our food quite spicy.I can not believe I waited so long to try this place. As a note we also ordered rice for me (GF) and naan for him and we came home with enough leftovers for another full lunch. A new go to in the neighborhood that I will be excited to share with friends. More...
