Kathy was our DJ for our wedding 3-18-18. We met with her a week or so before to discuss what we wanted for music. She was early on the wedding day to set up, even offering to help us get things ready. ....which we declined, of course. Kathy Bell provided DJ services for our daughter's wedding in August 2017. She met with them to discuss their music preferences well in advance, came to the venue to plan the set-up, and attended the rehearsal to coordinate music for the bridal party entrances and exits for the big day. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
I have found that once you can get a party on the dance floor it's important to keep them there. Music selection and songs that keep the party active is imperative. To play a wide variety of upbeat and genres that everyone knows and loves I'd important.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I have a wide range of music loves but more importantly I I have energy and I have a good time myself which seems to show to the party. They love it that very occasionally I will get out and Cupid shuffle with the crowd. If some don't know the dance I teach them. Before you know it everyone is dancing.
What do you love most about your job?
I love everything about my job. From meeting brides and grooms..making new friends. Working to make each party, wedding, event unique and special.
I love always learning and improving my goals and standards.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I began singing Karaoke. I entered contests. It was there I began getting alot more confident and reaching for my dreams. My friend at the time was a DJ and saw something in me and invested her time to teach me. I fell in love with the job.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have experience and can do a very good job on a budget. I work hard at continuously having the most current Music library and investing in my business. But more importantly than equipment, experience etc. I love getting to know my clients and working with them and meeting them to personally do what they want to see at their event, wedding, party etc.
