FRAUDS! They lie and rip you off. They walked out on our job. Stole our money. Overcharged us for extra items to use in their homes or other homes. They did a shotty job. Installed wrong flooring. Flooring looks like it was in a wet moldy warehouse for years. Get invoices to make them prove where your money goes. They stole $11,000.00 from us in allowances. They are very convincing when proving their innocence I believed them .. DON’T YOU FALL IN THAT TRAP. I should have ran. Don’t make the same mistake. We are suing them. They have have been sued before. that’s why he changed his name from Kansas City Remodel to Kansas City remodel and Handyman Allen. God will judge him in heaven since he claims to be a Christian. They did a phenomenal job creating the trashcan drawer from what used to be the useless desk area in our kitchen!  Communication and expectations were always clearly communicated and we are extremely happy with the craftmanship.

Finding an honest contractor that's about doing a job right and within your budget can be very daunting. I was lucky to have been referred to Allen and his team and at this point we are mid project and I am loving all of their work, suggestions, referrals and the communication is fantastic. To be able to communicate with the business owner personally and receive responses within 5 minutes is huge when trying to make decisions in regards to the project (kitchen remodel). As a first time home buyer, I wasn't sure how to find the best contractor for vaulting our ceilings.  There aren't a lot of trusty Yelp reviews for contractors. Luckily, I found a great contractor, Kansas City Remodel.  Allen and his crew were professional, clean, polite, friendly, and I love our  new ceilings!  They installed recessed lighting, reinstalled the ceiling fan, and painted the entire room.  While they were working, they installed this faux flooring to protect our hardwoods so they were never damaged.  I was so happy with their work, I'd hire them again for future projects!
