Tasha colors my hair beautifully! The other stylists are excellent as well. Many men have their hair cut here as do women.

I booked an appointment for an updo for my wedding. Initially I was scheduled with Deanna, but I ended up working with Tasha. She was lovely and immediately went to work styling my hair based on a photo I provided her. She was unperturbed by the thickness of my hair, which is daunting for most stylists. The end product didn't look that similar to the photo I showed her, but I honestly liked it a lot better. It was very elegant and romantic and looked perfect with the flower crown that my friend made me.

The only reason I can't give 5 stars, is because bobby pins and hair started falling out within two hours of getting it done, before any movement. Fortunately my friends brought tons of extra hairspray and bobby pins and were able to fix it so that it still looked good for photos. More...

I got a haircut, I asked for a mid-layer long bob. .. It looked thin, stringy, over-layered, and lopsided. I came back in for an adjustment, and they were very sweet and obliging, and though it was no longer lopsided, it did still look thin and stringy... all over. The sad thing was that it was prior to a trip to Italy that I had been planning for a very long time... Like, 7 years.

Based on the other reviews, I figure that this really had to be a one-time thing, everybody has their off days... So def still check this salon out. Bring good pictures, and as always, have a really clear idea of what you want and be able to communicate it well. More...

The ladies at Juve are AMAZING!!!! When I moved here, I left a great stylist I had had for 10 years. I was nervous about finding a new girl and establishing a new relationship. Whitney is the first person who I met, and she made me look and feel great. Fast forward three years later and she's still my hair girl and now one of my greatest friends (Ladies, you KNOW your hairdresser is also your therapist!!!). Juve is a wonderful salon. I've had horrible experience finding a salon in this area. One salon gave me purple hair instead of chocolate brown (aveda downtown) and one did incomplete highlights (aveda salon MP). Do NOT use any Aveda salons in this area they are beyond horrible!!! Juve is the answer. Whitney does a wonderful job! I left Juve wanting to do a backflip because I was so pleased with my color! Finally a GOOD salon in Mount Pleasant! Hallelujah!!! More...

I've been going to the same hair lady in Atlanta for five years, but after recently moving to Charleston, I was in dire need of a new salon. ..but pretty nervous about trying someone new. I went to Whitney for blond highlights and she did an AMAZING job! I have darker blond hair and wanted highlights to touch up my roots but not too bright to where it looked unnatural...the perfect shade of blond for the fall/winter. She listened to exactly what I wanted and it turned out even better than what I had expected! She gave me the prefect trim too...I couldn't be happier! As soon as I got home, my roommate made me schedule her an appointment with Whitney because she loved it so much! Everyone at the salon is so friendly and helpful, too.
