My family & I had the pleasure of working with Julio & Tempest for my maternity photoshoot, and I have to say for our first time doing anything like this, we had an awesome experience! ! We had the chance to meet up and talk about any ideas that I had in mind & any color schemes. They answered any questions I had and even helped me pick out the colors for our outfits. He had a vision for our shoot and they are everything we hoped they would be and more !! During the shoot, they kept up a positive attitude with everything & even had patience with our son. I usually don't write reviews, but after the experience I had with JS photography, I just had to do so. JS photography is amazing! I booked them for my wedding which was on Aug 1st 2015. They arrived well ahead of their scheduled time to ensure that they had time to speak with me to go over the details of what I wanted them to shoot. I booked them for photography and videography. They were right on point, capturing all of my cherished memories. They were very professional, and detailed. To top it all off, although I had only 15 minutes remaining on my contracted time, they stayed a little over to ensure that I had footage of our first dance as husband and wife. There's a lot to say about Julio, besides that he is my friend from high school (class of 2011), he is an awesome photographer and very professional. He is very creative, funny and keeps the conversation going. When my husband and I were looking for a photographer, Since I had Julio as a friend and I would see his photography work, I told my husband immediately to get Julio as an option because his pictures were fantastic. He took a look at them and he loved it, and so we went with Julio for engagement and wedding pictures. At first when we did my engagement photoshoot, I were kinda shy because I had never done one, but Julio and Tempest made us comfortable and we got the hang of it lol Once he showed us the engagement photos, we were stunned because of such an amazing work he did. He does a very good job on the colors and we couldn't be any happier. We are about to receive our wedding pictures and i can't wait to see them because i know they will come out amazing. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
More than anything having fun. Believe it or not if we can provide a few laughter, which we often do, we can get a more relax subject. Besides the fun factor I'd say proper lighting and camera techniques are must!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What do you expect from us as your photographers or videographers? Is often good to know what a client expects or the ideas in their head when inquiring for a services.
Another question we ask it about their personalities, what they like or dislike color schemes that they might enjoy or what their dream photo would be like.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the opportunity to prove to people they are beautiful. Often clients lack confidence and we ar we often their first professional shoot. I like when I can get them out of their shell and show them they are beautiful people all around. I love bringing out people's personalities in my images. I strive to deliver a fun experience.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I think the love for imagery in general inspired me. I like creating interesting images and poses. I also like being able to provide people with great images I know they will cherish for a life time.
Why should our clients choose you?
Besides being a professional. I am a very outgoing guy. I like to think outside the box and also I like to bring it the vest of people. I have great reviews and a great portfolio. I think that if you are looking for more than just an photo we are your people. We pride in creating memories and our images are not just posed they tend to be very organic as well.
