My fiancé and I were fortunate enough to win a free engagement session with Jack through the Roanoke Bridal Show. He was a pleasure to work with, very positive and light-hearted! We really appreciated that he got to the location early to scout out places to shoot and got our CD of images to us very quickly. Jack is absolutely amazing! My husband and I were blessed with the good luck of being contacted by Jack informing us we had won a free engagement session with him after attending a bridal showcase. Jack spent hours taking our engagement pictures out of the generosity of his heart and we fell in love with his work. I have taken a few photography classes in the past and after our engagement session I knew Jack had pure talent, an eye for unique and rememberable pictures, and a passion for capturing the moment. That is why we hired him for our wedding. He didn't just take the staged pictures but he also took great action shots of us dancing throughout the night. I relive our wedding day every time I look at one of his pictures. The best decision we made for the wedding was hiring Jack. Thank you so much Jack! I hope we keep in touch.

My husband and I got married about two weeks ago and were lucky enough to have Jack shoot it! He did such an amazing job capturing our special day and all of our guests! He showed up early & stayed late to get as many pictures as possible! You can tell this is his passion by all of the enthusiasm he puts into capturing each shot! Jack is the photographer that catches the moments of your life in time. I absolutely love this about his work. We booked him for our engagement and wedding pictures and they are perfect. I see our emotions, the colors, the TRUE view, and the life in our pictures. Jack was awesome!! He took the time to get all the shots I requested, and was super fun and personable!! I was a little distracted but my best friend who was watching said he went the extra mile to make sure he got the perfect shot during our vows(we were on a little island, if he was on the bridge he would've blocked people's views. .). We got married 5 years ago and JR Photography did everything from our rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding preparations, ceremony, portraits and reception photos. Jack has an uncanny way of being in multiple places at once to capture every moment of your day. The big day was finally here. All the many pieces and months of planning had fallen into place and we were ready. As I arrived at the church, the florist was working busily to get everyone their flowers and make sure everything was perfect. In a separate room, I was having my make-up done. A light knock at the door was answered quickly by one of my bridesmaids. It was the photographer, Jack Radgowski, ready to capture the intimate shots of mother and daughter preparing for the that perfect moment when two become one. It was effortless, not a lot of posing and smiling, just relaxed and being ourselves. Jack’s fun and jovial personality put everyone at ease.

While wedding photos can take a long time, it went by quickly because we were having so much fun! No request was too much, Jack has infinite patience and his suggestions were some of the best photos we took that day. I especially like the ‘silly face’ photos, one minute you’re serious, the next you’re all making the silliest face you can muster. He really helped communicate the overall jubilation of the entire day.

Jack’s artistic vision and guidance helped us to take some of the most beautiful and intimate photos of our special day. He captured a story, not just a bunch of still, posed images. When I look through my wedding photos, I always smile and remember the best moments from that day. More...
