When you're here you feel like family! Dr. Ivory is so sweet, & she knows what she's doing. We brought our 14yr. old daughter here after a knee injury, & I can say without a doubt, her strength, mobility, pain/pressure level, have all improved greatly! I have seen tremendous improvement in my mom’s physical abilities since she started working with Dr Ivory. Not only was there physical improvements, but mental and spiritual improvements as well. Not too long ago my mom was connected to tubes and machines fighting for her life and now she is walking without her walker, climbing stairs on her own and dancing with joy around the house. My mom has long been independent. So, Dr Ivory has given her the confidence to regain her independence through the PT sessions. My mom is proud of the progress she has made since started. I have had the honor of seeing Dr. Jones-Jennings break ground at her current location almost 10 months now and she is very professional and an expert in her field compared to other physical therapy centers. I highly recommend Journey to Harmony physical therapy! Wasn't able to hardly climb stairs or even walk very far without a lot of pain. Also had bad balance issues. I thank God for giving me the privilege to get therapy from this Amazine, professional woman. Who not only treat the pain, but also give you the knowledge on what exercises to do to help you maintain your therapy. She has such a gentleness about the way she makes her job easy. I went to Journey to Harmony Physical Therapy after a hospital stay, consultation with a neurosurgeon, a head and complete back MRI. I could barely walk and was very unbalanced. I was diagnosed with both cervical and lumbar stenosis. At that point I was sure I would be confined to a wheelchair. Dr. Jennings started me off very slow and easy and within a week I had major improvement! After 8 weeks I am much stronger, can control my legs and have confidence in my ability to walk and keep my balance. I am also driving again! She is so gentle but at the same time gets the work done. She is knowledgeable, caring and dedicated to her patients recovery. We have become friends and I feel blessed to know her and be in her care. Without her care and work I would not be walking today. She is amazing and I would recommend her and rate her at the top of the best. Oh and Breton is personable, funny and cares so much for everyone who comes through the door. After injuring my hip my Ortopedist recommended physical therapy as the first course of treatment. I was more than a little apprehensive about therapy because more than a year earlier I had to go to an assembly line type facility for back pain with no benefit for several weeks of therapy.
When I arrived at Journey to Harmony I was immediately impressed by the neatness of the facility and even more by the therapist and office staff. She patiently listened to my description of the onset of my pain and what might have caused it and began a series of excercises to loosen and strengthen my injury.
She printed out and gave me individualized excercises to carry out at home between therapy sessions.
The Doctor modified the therapy regimen week by week to give me the most benefit and informed me when a new excercise might cause nightly discomfort due to the progression of moves so I was not caught off guard.
My progress has been wonderful as my arthritic hip pain has been reduced to almost nothing allowing me to begin the return to my normal activities including road travel.
I thank the Lord for Dr. Ivory and her staff as their expertise and care have restored my confidence on their style of therapy. More...
