Working with Joel the day of the wedding was great! This guy knows his stuff. Him and his assistant work so well together and with others. The flow of the picture taking was great because he knew what we wanted, he got the shots, and then he did his own creative shots as well. There was never any standing around with him wondering, " What should we do now..?" He always had an idea and he moved people around effortlessly. It was VERY reassuring to know that we were in such good hands on our big day.

Once we viewed our pictures a few weeks later, we knew we had made the right choice. They turned out awesome. We are definitely pleased with the photos. Joel was able to capture the beauty of the ceremony, our style and personalities, along with everyone letting loose and having fun at the reception. I have only received positive comments back from others who have seen the photos as well. We had our wedding and our dinner shot by Joel. i couldn't be happier with the photographs, the way he handled the event, and the cost. I felt like we found a real prize when we chose joel and jessica. They were ready on time, they were unobtrusive, they were creative, and they scored some adorable shots of my friends because they made everybody laugh. There were lots of pictures to choose from, and he captured lots of different moods. I was very impressed and feel super lucky that these will be the pictures we'll keep forever. I recently did an engagement session with Joel Jordan photography and all I can say is my pictures turned out amazing. Both my fiancee and I hate being in front of the camera, but Joel eased our worry and made the entire experience for us comfortable and fun. We had our photos taken at San Diego State University where my fiancee and I had met. What I love most about my pictures is not only did they make us look good, but it also captures the beauty of that campus. Another reason to love Joel Jordan Photography is there packages are very fairly priced. They often run specials which can help any brides budget and they do go above and beyond for clients (like me) who are working with a tight budget and need payment flexibility which not all photographers are willing to do. My husband and I had all of our wedding photography done by Joel Jordan. We were thrilled with how fun he made our engagement session day. We shot a lot of pictures and he was able to keep our energy going while capturing the excitement and personalities of both my husband and I.Having him there on our wedding day was definitely a gift. We were thrilled with our wedding day photos. Joel Jordan did an excellent job capturing the beauty, love and excitement of the day. They made us feel comfortable and like we were made to have our picture taken. This was important for us because the groom sometimes gets uncomfortable while having his photo taken and it can show in his smile, but Joel and Jessica helped put him at ease. They also remained very professional throughout the day while still enabling us to enjoy the big event. It's not simple to keep large wedding parties and families on task, but Joel Jordan efficiently moved family members and friends around with easy and quickly so the portrait session didn't take forever. This way everyone was still smiling for the camera by the time it was all over.

Moreover, my parents are no longer married and not on the best of terms. They made sure to not have them interact longer than necessary and understood the delicate situation.

Also, even when we had finished taking group photos Joel Jordan was eager and encouraged us take more photos of just the bride and groom. So we snuck away and took some captivating photos outdoors and away from the wedding rush. These turned out to be some of our top picks.

We absolutely loved working with Joel and Jessica. We did an engagement session, a bridal session at an off-site location and the wedding - and they did an absolutely amazing job with all three. There is a fabulous mix of posed and candid shots as well as some traditional and those more contemporary - which is a wonderful mix when your giving wedding photos as gifts. And they also did an amazing job with the wedding album. But the things that stick out as being equally important was how their personalities make you feel at ease (which is so important since they are literally by your side all day) but they also dealt very well with the bride have her moments and "freaking out" leading up to the big day. They are also wonderful about returning emails and phone calls within 24 hours, and do their best to accommodate their clients even amongst their busiest schedules.

We live in OKC, so I can't compare their cost to other photographers outside of Oklahoma, but I know that my sister-in-law got married 3 months before us, paid a lot more for her photographer and didn't get all of the items we did - including multiple photographers, guest sign in book, website login cards, etc.

I can't begin to express how wonderful of a job Joel and Jessica did, how wonderful they were to work with and how fair their prices were compared to others in Ok. Highly recommend! More...

At the age of 3 years old, my 4 children were each taken to Carol for artistic photo sessions. We asked to make a ""masterpiece"" not just another ""sit and pose. "" After many shots, sometimes on different occassions, and much paid staking detail, we were able to complete a ""masterpiece."" The time she spent with us 1:1 getting to know my children was quite important as this was the time she was able to learn their personality and how the pictures should be done. Joel Jordan is an AMAZING photographer! Out of all the wedding plans, the photography was the one I was most picky about, as I have photography experience from college. Not only was he a lot less expensive than some other photographers, his photos are beautiful, and he really captured every important moment and detail of my wedding day.
