Staff is really cute and nice. Haha I love the grandmas pushing dimsum carts with their uniforms. Very genuine and the food is nice. Resturant is clean and big not the usual loud and tight dimsum house. More...

The food is excellent and the service is fantastic!!! The portions are big and it's one big ballroom with lots of tables. Expect to share a table with another party if your party is small.

There's a large variety of dishes, almost too much. The place is a huge place and we arrived after lunch hours so it was rather empty. There was a waiter with a cart that offered a pre-made and cheaper dishes instead of the menu dishes. We took some dishes from her cartand some ordered from the menu and she was a little upset that we didn't want more from the ready-made dishes. Overall it was a little strange experience, maybe because of the language and culture barrier. Some dishes were good and some not. More...

The food was so good. I liked the huge varities they had. The only thing i did not like about the place was the service. Some people was nice, but there were some people being really mean to the customers. But it was good overall. I would definetely visit again. More...

When in Chinatown, this is one of the must eat dim sum place to come to. The food is decent. It is packed all days from 10AM to 2PM and then for dinner 5PM to 10PM. I learned the trick to be there before 10AM and around 5:30PM. This is the biggest restaurant in Chinatown - 1500 seating - 150 tables, and two stages (One Large and One Mini). Big functions (Wedding, Fundraising, Political) are usually held here. I love the big escalator ride. Dim Sum prices are decent. I remember one time, many years ago, I went with my non-Asian friends from school the wait staff seem to all come at once with te food cart to have us choose. Boy, did we choose, not a good thing. Take a couple of dishes and then eat, relax, sit back, and order more. Take your time, don't rush. The first time with my friends, we were in and out in less than 45 minutes from seat time. I know the staff wanted to turn the table over as fast as possible, but take your time and enjoy your food instead of chowing it down.Pro Tip: By the way, if you are ever here for dim sum and you want food, get up and go to the rest room area, along the wall, you'll see HOT specialty dim sum food not usually shown on the cart.I love the clams, the veggies, and sticky rice.Note: When you come here, you need to have a lot of patience in waiting to get up to the main floor, wait to be seated, wait for your food, and sometimes the staff is not very pleasant. I learn to take it in stride because staff are busy, stretched in many directions, low pay, etc. Be prepared to share a table with others. It's fun. Say hello,, make new friends.I gave it 4 Stars because it's packed like a sardine at the times I went. More...

They are constantly changing but i think they've definitely gotten their groove compared to 10 years ago. This place is great for weddings and events. They're huge, the food is good and they're accommodating. Just keep in mind that only your table server\host can close the check for you. Then you bring it up to the register. Walking over to the register first or the delivery\pickup area means you're getting turned around and told the same thing. So don't do it! They will be the men and women wearing vests. More...

What a taste sensation and a sensational dining experience. The restaurant is situated on the first floor (American 2nd floor) and is reached by escalator that propel you up to one of the largest rooms without columns in New York. There the melee of dim sum carts ferrying hot dishes to the tables, aromas and bustle of a loud and lively space make for a memorable and delicious dim sum experience. If you are looking for a quiet, subdued dining experience, this isn’t the place. But if you’re game for an authentic New York Chinatown meal with a seemingly infinite options of flavours and dishes, then you’ve certainly come to the right place - there is a queue and it’s definitely worth the wait! The atmosphere is perfect for parties, but the food is disappointing. The meat is either too salty or the taste is very dry, the fried noodles are soft and not chewy, the fruit is also dry and sour.

Had dim sum and banquet at this restaurant. This is one of the Chinese restaurants that has a big Hall to hold 80 tables. It is not on the ground floor . You have to take the long escalator or elevator there. The food was okay there for both dim sum and dinner. More...
