Try to remember or imagine the greatest party you've ever been to and that's exactly what Jim can create as the host of your event! He has the innate ability to connect with people of all ages in such a fun and professional way. Jim is truly a master of music and due to how he arranged the selection of songs, we had guests from the age of 6 to 81 out on the dance floor until 11pm at my daughter's wedding reception! I have not ever been to a wedding where there were so many people dancing all night long and because everyone was having such a blast, no one wanted the night to end! Due to Jim's great working relationship with our wedding coordinator, Paula Mallory, and his prior experience in hosting events at Bridgewater Club in Carmel, IN., every imaginable detail and back up plan for possibly needing to move the ceremony and reception from an outdoor setting to indoor ballroom in case of bad weather was impeccably taken care of by Jim and Paula. Wow. Jim is the Perfect Host for your wedding. You would be doing your wedding a disservice not to include him in your special day. We originally found him from the AMAZING recommendations of my mom's friend. She had nothing but extraordinary compliments to Jim's service. He exceeded even these high expectations. When I reached out to Jim, he was accommodating, responsive, & interested in my ideas. He had a Wedding Entertainment Planner ready to go to jot down ideas & plans for our day. He knew when he needed to step in to get us down the path for a perfect entertainment wedding.
Jim was ready with a timeline of events & music to accompany. From the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the night, Jim had a plan. Every minute was detailed & organized. He had us on a path to enjoy every moment of the night & (sometimes more importantly) our guests to rave about how perfect the wedding went. I cannot express how above & beyond Jim goes. He had tips for the perfect toasts, an agenda for us to be guided by, & he even called my mom during the final week just to check in & see how she was holding up. Talk about a perfect host.
What really blew my mind was he understood that my husband & I couldn't dance. He helped us along the way by choosing the perfect song & made it so the experience was quick & painless. We even got some compliments (although they may have been just being nice), but either way we actually enjoyed the dance. He had so many ideas & listened to every one of our suggestions. We are IU alums & he even playing 'This is Indiana' to make the crowd go crazy.
The day of, Jim was like a hawk. He knew what songs to play at just the right time to make sure everyone, & I mean everyone, got up on that dance floor. He constantly gave updates to my dad, the best man, & maid of honor so they were aware of their time to speak & made sure every event was a celebration. Words cannot accurately capture how wonderful Jim truly is! We partially picked our date around his availability and we are so glad we did. He is a true master of ceremonies, from day one his organization and professionalism stood out to us. Jim was everything my wife and I could have asked for and more. My wife, having the privilege to babysit his kid’s growing up, knew that Jim was top notch and he outdid himself! We had a magical evening that went absolutely perfect. The ceremony, food, drinks, cake, Jim’s Selfie-Stand, and THE MUSIC- All the right songs at the perfect moment! I can't begin to tell you how many people have said it was the best wedding reception that they have been to and we are still receiving messages expressing congrats and thanks.

The Selfie Stand was an absolute hit and was such a great time going through the pictures with family the day after. All of the memories that we will be able to keep from that including the continuous laughs as we made our way through all of the pictures are priceless!

Fantastic and the best you'll find! Jim was so responsive during the planning process and created some of the best memories for us during our wedding! When my husband and I were asking around about DJ's for our wedding, every single venue and person that we talked to said to go with Jim Cerone - and I'm so glad that we did! There is no other "DJ" in Indianapolis like Jim Cerone. He is extremely professional, fun and friendly. As a Wedding Entertainment Director, Jim gets the evening off on all the right feet! He acts as an ambassador for the bride and groom and the bride's family. He is wonderful and reading the guests and moving the events along at just the right pace. He knows how to use the music to "get the pot boiling" so that when the dinner is over and it is time to start dancing, people can't wait to get up and get moving! He even had people we NEVER expected to see on the dance floor up and dancing for several songs! He takes care of the details at the reception site so the bride and her family can enjoy. Jim Cerone made our wedding a blast! He knew exactly what song to play at the perfect time, played some songs that all the different generations at the wedding could appreciate, and made all of our guests feel like VIP. Jim's brain is like a sponge, he remembered songs we mentioned four months before the wedding during our discussions and made sure to play them throughout the evening. If you don't at least consider Jim as the DJ/MC for your wedding, you are doing yourself a HUGE disservice.I've been to several weddings for friends and family members and the bands and DJs just didn't compare to Jim. I HIGHLY recommend Jim Cerone to any and everyone in the Indianapolis area getting married! He truly made our reception flow seamlessly letting the crowd know when things were about to occur, making sure all parents/wedding party/etc. knew when they were to do what AND from the second the dance floor was opened until the end of the reception people were crowded on the dance floor.
