Jian Liang Photography

Jian Liang is simply one of the best photographers you will ever find in the Bay Area. My wife and I were looking for a professional photographer to get our family (maternity) portrait. We did a lot of research here and there and we are very happy that we find Jian. To begin with, she’s very easy to communicate and reachable. We discussed in detail about what types of pictures that we were looking for, and she also shared her insights and offered us her collections of maternity dresses and accessories. Because we were doing the photoshoots outdoor, she went to the location the day before to scout the surroundings. On the day of photoshoots, we brought our dog (Yes, it is a family picture), everything went smoothly as planned, and we accomplished quite a lot in our session. Jian is a really great photographer! She did my maternity photo session last month, it was special because we also bought our pet dog. Jian provided some clothes for me, they were elegant and suitable for in door sessions. We went on to an outdoor session, she helped me and my husband to pose, to smile at our most comfortable way, and chose the best shooting point and timing. When we received the photos, the lighting was beautiful! Jian also captured the photos with our dog, very lovely! The 1.5 hour we spend together was relaxing and productive. We would also love to try her newborn and baby 1st year milestone session when our baby is born, can't wait! Definitely would recommend Jian to any friends who want to have their pregnancy photo and baby photos. More...

Jian is a very talented photographer. She did outdoor photo shoot session for my maternity and indoor photo shoot session with my baby along with family portraits! She is very detail oriented and has helped on choosing a specific theme, created backdrops that goes well with our preference and planned well in advance of the scheduled time. She is very flexible and has many of the very beautiful props to choose from for a baby photo session. I selected 6 months, 9 months and 12 months baby photo session package and I am looking forward to have many more sessions with her. I highly recommend her! More...

Jian has a special talent in taking newborn photos. I was amazed how she was able to work with our 3 week old baby for nearly 6 hours. He was a calm sleepy baby and posed perfectly with her guidance. She is very patient when the baby needs to take a break for feeding or changing. She has tons of beautiful props and will even take special requests if you see an example you'd like to replicate. The photos turned out great and we can't wait to share the results with our family & friends. I highly recommend Jian for your baby and family photos! More...
