I was so overwhelmed by 11 years worth of kid and family clutter in our home, I didn't even know where to start. It was like being stuck on a hamster wheel. I heard about Jennifer through a friend and immediately reached out to her. Her services are the best money I have ever spent. In less than a week, she helped me declutter and organize my entire house. And the best part is, it has stayed that way. We just purchased a new home and I will be reaching out to her once again to help me create the mudroom I've always dreamed of. More...

Jennifer helped me a TON after my Mom passed away to figure out what to with all her STUFF! And there was so much to sort out and dispose of in one way or another. I wanted to maximize what I could monetize and then donate or whatever. Jennifer had super fabulous ideas and connections which was immensely helpful. Saved me money and time! And then she helped me sort out my STUFF when I moved out of state not only with my things but emotionally sort out everything I need to take or sell or donate. She went above and beyond in so many areas and so many times... and kept me laughing which was essential. I just think she is the best at not only organizing things, but also weeding out what is keeping you stuck, feeling trapped and allow you to really take ownership of what you have around you (including ideas, people, things, attitudes, and thoughts) to make your life feel wonderful! I went to a one hour presentation by Jennifer and learned so much about how to de-clutter. She made me feel comfortable with getting rid of some of my junk and taught me how to figure out what I should keep and what I can get rid of. She's a fun person to listen to and gives such great advice. I would love to work with her someday on organizing my house. Her before and after pictures are AMAZING! More...

The decision to call Jennifer was one of the best I have ever made. At our first meeting, she listened and was incredibly insightful. She provided guidance and support for establishing a home office space right from the get-go, and this continued throughout the project. Her patience, prodding and encouragement kept me on track, and her advice along the way was invaluable. Jennifer's written summary of our first visit provided observations that made me reconsider and re-prioritize several things in my life (not just the space). Just finished reading Jennifer's information on organizing my closet. As soon as I finish with this post I am off to remove the items I no longer need or will ever put on again and reorganize those I am keeping. I especially like the idea of turning the hangers backward after I wear something to see what other items I can "repurpose" later on. Thank you Jennifer for the simple, easy to follow steps to adding more room to my closet. Can't wait to see the new vs. old view when I look in there. More...

Jennifer Phelps (aka Ms. Fix-It) is a gifted personal coach and creative problem-solver with a decorator's eye and true handy- person/carpentry skills. She is prompt and reliable and her wonderful sense of humor takes the tedium out of
the most trying tasks. I hired her as an organizing coach, to help me clear out piles of accumulated paperwork and develop a system to manage ongoing paperwork challenges. She also helped with gleaning and organizing family photos, mementos, and recipes, as well as clearing out closets and miscellany stashed in the garage. We work on an ongoing basis to continue improving my personal organization skills, and have branched out to home repair and improvement projects. Whatever Jennifer can't do herself, she can arrange with her many contacts in the building and repair fields. I am grateful to have found her at this time in my life.

We contracted with Ms Fix It Home Solutions for a remodeling project on a codo used by our son a student at the University of Arizona. Because of the great distance between home and this location a reputable and considerate contractor was essential. The work performed was excellent, well within the estimate provided and was of top quality. Any follow up necessary was performed timely and with respect to costs. We have used this groups services since that time as we know that our interests are best protected and the work wil be performed timely, with quality and at a respectful cost. When I spoke with Jennifer on the phone, and she was very friendly and direct, asking the right questions to assess my needs. At first I needed cabinet repair and other work to undo what an unlicensed contractor did wrong in my home. She got my email and let me know she'd be contacting me in a few days with referrals for the parts that were out of her scope. She also let me know she did professional oragainizing. She then got in touch with me quickly with those referrals but by then my neighbor had already agreed to be my hero in this situation and help me immediately. However, I did hire her then for the orgainization. I've never done that before and I was a little nervous. Kind of one of those things where I felt I had to clean before the maid comes. But I knew I needed her beacuse looking around my unfinished remodeling project- my home was in ......a mess. Furniture was not where it was supposed to be, blocking walkways, my desk was piled high with recieps and manuals and mail. Things in every direction in my home screamed they needed attention, and I was just stuck and overwhelmed at the emotions that come from this much disorganization.
Jennifer rang the bell on time, was again immediately friendly and professional, and even attentive and kind to my dog. We sat and talked for a bit while I told her my story of how I got in this mess and she was understanding and compassionate. She had advice on subjects I didn't know were important, but she had my security and safety in mind and I could tell she is an expert and trusted her immediately. Then we got down to business of organizing. We put things into piles, found things that went together, changed light bulbs, and bascially with her help I got unemotionally attatched to everything overwhelming me and just dealt.
We worked for two hours solid. If I had done this alone I would have lost my focus and resolve in the first few minutes. With Jennifer, it was easy to stay focused even motivated. The trash bag filled, clutter disappeared into magagable piles with names, and I started to feel lighter. Throughout the process Jennifer was sharp, non-judgmental and FUN! I think she is a great person with a very special and much needed skill. I am so happy I met her and hired her, and have already recommended her to several friends. It is with pleasure that I write this review, and wish her every success.

Helped with sorting out, cleaning out, repairing, and preparing house for sale after my parents were no longer able to live there. Both my parents were hoarders and hadn't had any repairs or upkeep done to the home for at least 20 years so it was quite a job. Don't remember the cost. More...
