I specialize in a type of photography that offers intimate portraits. These portraits can be maternity, family or newborn. I hope to capture the part of us that can feel vulnerable in front of a camera. This is usually the part of us that is real.

My wife and I chose to go ahead with maternity photos and we are so glad we did. We are so glad to have worked with Jennifer as she was ready with various themes and mood shots in mind. She incorporated me in several shots and worked with some of our ideas too. On top of having a good shoot, Jennifer got us the choice shots within a week. Jennifer is great with babies and with mamas! She was very flexible and gracious in scheduling. She chose some beautiful locations at Laurelhurst Park for us and was very patient in waiting for the best shots with baby. We had a wonderful experience with Jennifer. She came to our home to photograph our newborn daughter on our schedule, as making plans with a newborn can be very challenging.
She was patient as we had to soothe our little one to sleep and our daughter wasn't being the easiest baby that day.
Her prices are fair and we really enjoyed our pictures! We recommend her for newborn photography!

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Time. I will take the time to put people at ease during their session. I also shoot many images. This allows time for people to feel more comfortable and relaxes you into a place where fear wears out.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is it that you are looking for? What is it you are wanting to take away from this experience? Why is it that your chose me?
What do you love most about your job?
Being behind the camera and watching people start to revert back to who they are, instead of feeling uncomfortable. I also love post-production. I will sit in front of the computer for hours with my digital darkroom and Photoshop until I am satisfied. Which takes a while.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been photographing since I was fifteen. I started focusing on pregnancy after my own daughter's birth and how amazed I was by it.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am different. I will provide the true story of your family.
