What makes a great website?
A great website is a tool that converts your visitors into clients or customers! Most people focus on how it looks (which IS important) but completely miss that if it's not usable, it doesn't matter how beautiful it is. Look at Google and Facebook. Not particularly pretty, but they get the job done so people keep coming back for more!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are the goals for your website? Because it's a tool, what are your main tasks that you want it to do for your business? Do you want to grow an email list? Sell a product? Sell someone else's product? Who is the most perfect customer or client? Tell me a bit about him or her! These answers all help me figure out how to design the best site for you.
What do you love most about your job?
I love when my clients see their businesses start to succeed. Often it's a little thing like a slow page load, or a broken button, but finding these issues and fixing them is something that I'm passionate about. Sometimes it's the big stuff like the layout and the information presented, and I love designing them better solutions for their businesses!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always loved playing with websites. I was designing them for fun and for myself. When I started to help my family and friends, I realized that I could do this as a "job". To me, it's so much more than that. I get to do what I love every day and impact lives and businesses. What's your super power?
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I do things the right way. I go that extra mile and treat your business the way I treat my own. I like to find out why something isn't converting and I love coming up with new and creative solutions, or knowing how to apply an old standby in a new way. I'm going to work hard for you and your business, the way I would want someone else to do for me.
