We had Jason take photos at our daughter's 3rd birthday party a couple of weeks ago and we could not have been happier with our experience. Jason was all over the floor and chasing around our two kids, getting the best candid shots. This was required since our 10-month-old is not yet walking and our 3-year-old refuses any type of posed picture! He was great to work with; professional, very reasonably priced and he listened to what we wanted out of the shoot. Jason Janes is AMAZING! He was so so patient with my children and I and totally went with the flow. We got into a goofy mode and he just went with it and started shooting. Jason is unlike any other photographer out there! He is brilliant!!!! Not only is he super cool and makes you feel comfortable (he made me feel beautiful while huge at 9 months pregnant) but his photos are none other than BAD ASS! !! His ability to change lighting in pictures is insane. He would email me some lighter and darker versions of the same picture and ask which I liked best! We got the pleasure of meeting and working with Jason back in September 2016 when he did our engagement photo shoot. The pictures came out amazing! He truly has an eye for catching moments that other photographers miss. We were so in love with our engagement photos, there was no question that we wanted to book him for our wedding day. Great experience all round! Whenever I get a compliment on the photos, which is often, I always say "thanks! we had so much fun doing the shoot! " Myself and my other half are the ones in the wolf masks, if you look through his images. Weird, right? But in the best possible way. I wanted to get all fairy-tale artsy with my one and only pregnancy, and Jason listened to my idea and was on board with it all the way. We could tell he was really invested in giving us the best possible photos. We have this awesome coffee table book filled with fairy tale images that I don't think anybody else could have made happen. So, even if you prefer a more traditional style photo, go for it. We hired Jason for our Wedding back in August at San Francisco City Hall. He was able to capture some great photos which also included the wonderful architecture which made me fall in love with city hall in the first place.

Working with Jason was a breeze. He was very reasonable and extremely responsive. The day of the event he arrived promptly to City Hall. He was patient and continued to be cheerful the whole time. Even with us dragging him everywhere through city hall and at our reception venue! He provided lots of pictures to chose from...LOTS! He also offers additional touch ups at a very reasonable rate. We had Jason do our engagement photos and liked him so much that we went ahead and hired him for our wedding as well. He was incredible the whole way through. The day of, he was professional, patient, and never stopped working. He was in go mode all evening long and only slowed down to take a few bites for dinner. My wife requested a lot of candid photos and Jason delivered. He sent us hundreds of finished photos and we were blown away. He captured the fun and love that we all had that day perfectly.
