ya know, i had a more fond idea of Jammin DJs going in to conversations with them and was recommended to reach out to them by some friends. But after reaching out and being treated with complete disrespect, i can deffinitely say that i no longer have any interest in becoming a "jammin DJ". i was told that because i own my own gear and company they would not hire and train "their competitor" by the owner himself. then his constituant hit me up asking me to reapply, i asked them to call me and never got a response. checked back in with them probably a month later to recieve another nasty reply explaining that because i did not reapply and resend videos of me djing that they would not work with me and that it was my fault for being "unresponsive" though i had extensive conversations with the team multiple times, all through third party applications even though they had all of my contact information. This company is simply feeding off of young and hungry talent, and working them into $2000 gigs for pennys on the dollar. DJs with any experience need not apply. More...

I contacted Jammin DJ's to find a DJ for my wedding at the Chief Hosa Lodge in Golden Colorado. I wanted to find a DJ who was not only familiar with house music, but also comfortable mixing a 2. 5 hour set from songs I selected. I met with Michael virtually several months before the wedding. He was professional, and offered valuable advice for the reception. We had another meeting a few weeks before the wedding, and meticulously combed over every single detail of the big day. This was helpful, as it relieved some planning-related stress. I didn't realize I had hired such an excellent DJ until I arrived at the venue. Michael was set up and ready to go hours before the outside ceremony. He played some of my personal favorite songs while my bridesmaids and I finished getting ready. Michael was a master at crowd control, especially when it started raining just as guests began to show up. Much to everyone's surprise, we had a 30-minute window between storms, and decided to hold the ceremony outside. I walked down the aisle to "Respect the Wind" by Van Halen, as thunder rumbled all around the venue. As a meteorologist, this was a dream come true!!! The next line of storms rolled through just as the ceremony had ended, but Michael was able to get everyone inside before the downpour. Michael worked closely with my day-of coordinator and photographer so well, I thought they had all worked together before (they hadn't!). He was friendly, energetic, attentive, and has an incredible talent for reading the room. The reception was executed flawlessly. After our first dance, Michael played fun upbeat songs to get everyone warmed up before transitioning into the house music set. My friends and I never left the dance floor! All our guests said they had more fun at our wedding than any other! Michael went above and beyond at my wedding. If I could do it all over, I would definitely hire him again. For those who don't want to read the wall of text that is to follow. Here is my short and sweet review. When friends and family talked to me after my wedding, the most common compliment I got was "your DJ was amazing! " and I couldn't agree more. I had seen Michael perform at various events before including a VIP tailgate every week at the Broncos game and was always impressed me with his sets and emcee abilities. In the past I have worked in the live sound area before and I had some pretty high expectations for my wedding. What I didn't anticipate is that Michael would blow these expectations out of the water. From the early days of planning Michael helped us avoid what he called a "clutch wedding" where it feels like stop/go all the time. He helped us come up with a good order of doing the first dance, cake cutting, etc. He also collaborated with us on a "speed photo" session where my wife and I would run around to all the tables and take a photo with each table. After we took the photo, that table was asked to go to the dance floor so we could take a big group photo with everyone at the end of the speed session. Two things came out of this awesome idea. One - We didn't feel the pressure of taking a bunch of photos while we tried to enjoy our reception and two - with everyone on the dance floor for our group photo, Michael immediately dropped the dance music. No awkwardness of an empty dance floor to see who would go dance first, just 180 people immediately dancing. And thanks to Michael and his DJing ability to read the room it stayed full the entire night! The thing I was most impressed about was during the ceremony itself. Things happen in the world of live sound and during our ceremony the microphone we had on our officiant started having issues due to the cell phone interference introduced by 180 people. Without skipping a beat, a backup microphone was handed to our officiant and the problem was solved. Michael was professional, showed up early, went above and beyond in what he did for us including getting the entire room to sing happy birthday to my best man. If you have no idea where to start / what to look for in a DJ I can assure you look no further and hire Michael and Jammin' DJ's for your event. More...

I cannot say enough good things. Bryan was our DJ and we literally had people coming up to us at the wedding telling us how amazing our DJ was. Even after the wedding, people were talking about what a good job he did. Bryan helped us with the planning process but the day of went so smoothly and a lot of it was due to Bryan. He had so many tricks to get and keep people on the dance floor. He did not talk to us about one of them beforehand and it was one of my favorite memories from our wedding (not sharing what it was because I assume he does this at most weddings). We recently had our wedding and actually knew our wedding DJ beforehand due to awesome trivia nights at Platte River Bar and Grill, that we have been attending for years because of him. Bryan was amazing and exceeded our expectations! Not only is he a fantastic trivia emcee he is also an incredible wedding DJ. My husband and I were lucky enough to have Bryan as our DJ at The Pines at Genesee on 11-09-19. Impressed is an understatement! Bryan was a huge reason why our wedding was so successful and so much fun. Everything went exceptionally smooth through the entire evening. Bryan knows how to get the crowd on the dance floor and how to keep them engaged throughout the night- there was never a moment that our dance floor wasn't packed. I myself have been to 3+ weddings this year and it was important for me to have music played that isnt your typical wedding playlist. Bryan did a great job at incorporating our "must play" songs, while also reading our music taste and playing music that appeals to all generations.
