What’s your interior design process?
1st a short meeting to review scope of work needed and to get to know not just the physical space that needs my expertise but how my clients want to use the space.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I am more about creating a home that is comfortable and functions the way my clients want it function. I tend to like spaces that are clean yet warm with touches of color where needed for visual ”pops” that delight the space and enhances the overall design vibe we are after.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to see the transformation of a client’s space into one that they have always dreamed about! My clients have become my friends and I am referred to their friends and work colleagues often.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After receiving numerous request from friends and work colleagues to help them with their homes, JAGOD DESIGNS was born. More then 20 years later, I still keep in mind three thoughts from my very 1st job:
1) a sofa is not a good sofa if you can’t take a nap on it.
2) chairs need to accommodate people if all sizes.
3) a home is not a museum-make it kid/pet friendly and T.V.’s are OK in any room.
Why should our clients choose you?
After many years in the fashion and home decor business, I can say I have found my passion in being an interior designer.
I do what I do very well and my repeat clients are the proof of that!
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, I’m currently doing a remote project in New York as well as one locally. There’s a lot that can be accomplished on FaceTime, Zoom, e-mails and through the mail. It can take a bit more organization on my part but it’s completely doable and I can guarantee great results!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I follow the CDC protocols of always wearing a mask, maintaining correct
social distancing in all face to face meetings as well as frequent hand washing when needed.
