Jägerhaus Gastropub & Biergarten

I've dined at this location several times with my family and never been disappointed. Would recommend the Jagerhaus to anyone. Yesterday went to Jagerhaus for Mothers Day after making reservations a week earlier to found out they never recorded it. They were crowded and needed to seat us outside placing a out heater close to the table. Was surprised they didn't offer any compensation for their reservation screw up (i.e. a free drink would of been nice) I will still take my family to the Jagerhaus. Being from German decent, i have high standards, and they were met. Atmosphere, menu, beer all spot on. Potatoe pancake was crispy. Not greasy, Apple sauce had the right balance, spetzla, rivelled my mother's, red cabbage, weiner snitzel, fantastic! Beer was spot on. Will definitely come back. More...

Its a nice place to enjoy dinner with friends. I suggest to go to a German restaurant for my birthday and found this place in Whitestone. Although the crowd is different than that of the City, the food and beer selections are on par, and staff is super nice. I'll be back very soon. More...

The food and service were great and the atmosphere was fun. We had dinner in the biergarten and really enjoyed ourselves. There is no children's menu, but our server said they will make anything in a kid's portion . The place is small, so make a reservation if you can. So happy to have Jägerhaus in Whitestone! More...

We ate in a closed in area with glass all around, so it was just like being outside. In the spring and summer they open up the whole outside area. It will be a nice beer garden to go to without going too far. I will go back. More...

I was invited with a half German / Austrian buddy with my family an Easter break treat at jagerhaus restaurant in Whitestone. Drinks , appetizer, main course and desserts with amazing variety of coffee were excellent!!! Price was pretty reasonable , ambiance was fantastic , servers are superb! Great food and great service! Staff went out of their way to accommodate our group. We got there when the kitchen was getting ready to close for the night and they still served us with no problem. Very professional!

Been here a few times recently and it never disappoints. The bavarian pretzel is amazing and the buffalo wings were surprisingly good.
And now to critique the German cuisine, and what can I say...it's amazing!!!
Tasting the Jagerschnitzel, the goulash and most recently the sauerbraten is like a trip into my childhood. My German born aunt and my mother made dishes just like this when I was a kid, and none of what they make here at Jagerhaus is any different. Can't wait to try the wienerschnitzel next time around.
The spatzle and red cabbage is excellent as well.
Service is excellent, always a smile on their faces.
Been a while since the last German restaurant closed down in the area, so this place is well received and an excellent replacement for them. Thanks for opening here among the numerous Italian and Chinese places...what a breath of fresh air!! More...

Easily one of the best restaurants in Queens. The food is amazing every time I go and the staff and owners are very detail oriented and make sure that each and every customer leaves with a positive experience. I've tasted almost everything on the menu and its all delicious but the Bavarian pretzel and goulash are 2 of my favorite things. If you're anywhere near this Whitestone gem, be sure to stop in.
